Thank you! 🥰 I didn't fully showcase the flanger as well as I could have, in part because of how I do things parallel, but it's a very cool and animated flanger - especially with the envelopes engaged. I just really fell for the aliaser and ring mod right away so I think I ended up showing those more.
Thanks! I’m usually using a plugin from Teletone for a bunch of my stuff. This is one called Vespertone and they have a Rhodes and Wurlitzer, Vibraphone etc. I wish I had the real thing but these are a pretty awesome substitute. 😊
What is an aliaser? I like to consider myself a pedal aficionado and I have no idea what that is. Do I want one? Do I need one? Or do I already have one?
@@nicholasrella6904 it’s very similar sonically to a bitcrusher. The high frequencies are more affected by the lower sample rate sorta folding back. Sometimes it can sound a bit ring mod ish too? Other times it sounds a bit more delicate? Though it can also sound just as wrecked as a bitcrusher.
@@basementlyle Perfect description. That's pretty much what it sounded like to me. I've noticed wave folding has been pretty trendy lately. This is an excellent implementation of the concept. Most builders are using it as a distortion. Kind of a one trick pony imo. Wave folding is not your everyday distortion. It's something you might use for a solo or one specific segment of a song. I love how this Drolo pedal also does other effects, making it much more practical. I've tried some wave folding pedals that sounded great but were way too expensive for something I would only use once in a blue.
@@Aletheia_Z oof yeah Drolo stuff really takes quick reflexes to procure. If had a few times like that where a thing slipped through my fingers while it was in the shopping cart.
I've been wanting a Drolo pedal ever since seeing them on this channel. They're quite hard to find and very expensive. At least the few I saw on Reverb were.
@ yeah resale can get a bit out of hand sometimes. It’s like that with Pladask stuff too. David is pretty approachable though so you can always reach out to him on instagram or whatever. 😀
@ I have one Pladask pedal. I won't even let anyone look at it. I regret all the ones I've passed up on. The prices have gone up so much and it's extremely rare to see one pop up at a reasonable price.
beautiful vibes !
@@drolofx thanks my friend! 🥰
You always make such beautiful music! It is a super interesting pedal. I am on an eternal hunt for a flanger that fits for me…. This could be it : )

@@wintermute101 thanks man! Love me some robot sounds. 🤖
Really gorgeous work, man.
@@boringgearreviews thanks so much man! 🥰
Oooohhhh nice!
@@thevaliant_music thank you!😊
How do you like to use filters?🤔
How are you getting your base piano sound? Is it a plug-in? A Rhodes? Sounds beautiful
