No worries, I've always wanted to cover the Hive since I know there isn't really a full explanation in English of what you can find and expect. That is indeed a good question and it's is actually possible to ava/thunder, but usually people teamhunt it or let an EK solo hunt in the towers, it's very good profit and quite good experience =) A team of EK+ED also works very well, I think it's around 1kk exp /h
I've finished watching this today and it seems too hard and frustrating to me! Takes a lot of work to get the gooey masses and IF you get the four leaf clover, it can still break upon use? God, I'll leave this mount for when I'm level 400+ and with nothing better to do
Haha I felt just the same way you did when I was first introduced to hive, after a while you get used to it! I mean, gathering 50 points and collecting gooey masses takes around an hour or two, but the turnover from selling them is 1kk, which is alot to gain for only 1-2 hours spent! Also, the four leaf clover has never been broken, so we don't really think the item can break, it's most likely a 100% tame chance! :) If you don't have a server that pushes the hive or does tasks to help you, then yes it's alot of time investments since you have to do 400 points by yourself to push from stage 1 to stage 3 ^_^ but then you are also collecting points for the Insectoid outfit =D

Due to the ammount of mobs there, I wonder if its actually a good place to kite and ava/thunderstorm, or maybe a dual hunt ek+ed
