I like how she says "Take care" at the end of the interview. It's very rare to see celebrities say those kind of words, because most of the time, they don't give a shit about most people.
I loved the way she responded when she really didn't understand his question. She concentrated really hard then responded with, "yea it was really good."
As a French man, I can tell you that the interviewer is really incompetent. Not only the questions he asks are stupid but his accent is really bad. French people are quite hard on foreigners that don't speak French very well, so the interviewer could at least make an effort. The only logical reaction at 6:14
For all those who criticizing the interviewer, what the fuck is wrong with you? He speaks with a French accent? SO WHAT? He's French! At least, he made an effort to speak Emma's language. Btw, Emma was born in France and had been living there for 5 years, why can't she try to speak French? She's in Cannes, France.
I think it's such a shame the interviewer does not go into what Emma's saying. Especially around 6:25 when she gets into some sort of "stream of consciousness" on ABSOLUTELY nothing given by the interviewer. This just shows that Emma is so respectful and cares so much about film in general that she can basically make any interview a (somewhat) good interview. She's so passionate and kind, love her
Thank you for posting this. I've been to France few times and I always try to speak in French and all the time I feel that you guys try to understand, speak slow and help. I say to my friends and acquaintances that people in France are very nice to the foreigners. And I don't dare to say that I speak fluent French. I would say: Je me débrouille bien, :)
She didn't look pissed off whatsoever.. she instantly proceeded to correct herself after, and get the feel of the word. She handled it fine, how else should she have acted?
I'm french and I assure you that most french aren't like that one and that most of us just love it when people try to talk in french even when their accent isn't 100% accurate... Don't go having bad ideas on french just because of that video... Thanks ;)
I don't think that she have to self-control, because I think Emma is respectful to every Person, including the Interviewer and takes the questions seriously. THAT is why I love her so much.
@Carlos Rojas she isn't a little stupid, it's the journalist's fault, his questions aren't really good. I understand maybe it's a bit hard for him because obviously English isn't his first language.
I am French and I did not understand when she said "Les Intouchables" so I can understand him. Though, having an english accent can be very hard for some people, it is very common so I dont think it was intentional. Speaking english can be impressive for us too.
she moved when she was very young, and both her parents are English and probably spoke English at home. She knows a little but you can't expect her to know it that well, it's been quite a while, she's probably forgotten a lot.
she didn't once correct his english, how rude of him! she said les intouchables very well, you could totally understand her! this guy's questions are stupid anyway, bless her
I don't see why some people here think the questions she was asked are awful, I actually thought they were interesting and on-topic, and less shallow than usual. I mean, she was here to promote her movie, not her personal life.
It always kills me when that happens - she could have been correcting him for the entire interview, but she didn't because it would have been rude. smh, didn't stop him tho'
Holy shit maybe for a native english speaker it is understandable but for someone who has english as his second tongue i find really hard to understand that guy where is he from ? France?
she's soo sweet and nice. obviously she is putting on that "happy face" that im sure a lot of celebrities do when they are doing interviews or anything media related for the public. but I would love to meet her and get to know her. see the real emma watson :)
The guy you can hear mumbling questions to Emma is one of Homer Simpson's slightly more dim-witted French cousins ... Emma's facial expressions, when she realises that the guy neither speaks nor understands either English or French, are priceless, and surely worthy of a role in an episode of The Simpsons ...
I haven't seen The Bling Ring yet, but I feel like it will have the same feeling to it as Springbreakers somewhat. When Emma talked Sofia's interest in the meaningless of life, of the slowness and the boredom, I thought that was so true and so obvious in The Virgin Suicides and Somewhere, and Springbreakers felt the same, except it focused on how fucked up life can get, and it had the director's, I feel, had the same non-judgemental attitude towards both films
She reminds me of myself. Incredibly contagious smile. But every picture I've seen that was her minding her own business, she's very straight and in her own mind to the point she looks mean. I'm the same way... and I'm a guy btw :)
I like how she says "Take care" at the end of the interview.
It's very rare to see celebrities say those kind of words, because most of the time, they don't give a shit about most people.
she always seems so simple, sweet, honest and 'down to earth'. :)
I loved the way she responded when she really didn't understand his question. She concentrated really hard then responded with, "yea it was really good."
Around the 6th minute
she looks so beautiful :)

She's a great actress !

I looooved the soundtrack for the film. Also at the end of the interview she was like "finally"
The Bling Ring was amazing. Loved the movie.

She's not stupid, girlfriend went to brown university. The interviewer was wack.
She didn't look pissed off whatsoever.. she instantly proceeded to correct herself after, and get the feel of the word. She handled it fine, how else should she have acted?

C'est quoi ce journaliste serieux...
At the of the interview, it looks like she's thinking "thank god that's over"
I don't think that she have to self-control, because I think Emma is respectful to every Person, including the Interviewer and takes the questions seriously.
THAT is why I love her so much.

I love her she's just so sweet !
I'm in love with her accent! She can blow me away any day!

when you hear those questions you think : "My good Emma Watson s a master of self-control"
im going crazy about her everyday!!!!! i love you emma!
she moved when she was very young, and both her parents are English and probably spoke English at home. She knows a little but you can't expect her to know it that well, it's been quite a while, she's probably forgotten a lot.
I love her! She's gotta be tired of the inevitable Harry Potter questions but she's still so friendly and engaging.
Il a un accent à couper au couteau, et on voit à la tête d'Emma qu'elle galère à comprendre. x)
This is the most beautiful actress !!! Good continually
Can't wait to see this and Noah! So glad that she confirmed a general release for Noah and that it's already filmed.
Emma is such a class act. I look forward to seeing this.
she didn't once correct his english, how rude of him! she said les intouchables very well, you could totally understand her! this guy's questions are stupid anyway, bless her

Bling ring is the best movie of the year! Unbelieveable great
Omg i love her
Emma was born in Paris but she is english, she moved to UK when she was 5 (sorry for my english i'm french)
I just watched the bling ring trailer and then this, and nearly completely forgot she was British. Good job on the American accent Emma!
its not that i have a celebrity crush or any of that shit. I just love her.
i love Emma Watson so much
You are absolutely right
I think she's probably heard many interviewers ask her the same questions, maybe it was half listening closely and half guessing lol
It always kills me when that happens - she could have been correcting him for the entire interview, but she didn't because it would have been rude. smh, didn't stop him tho'
Her voice :O
How lovely and funny she is!!!!
First seconds - priceless)
hello lovely Emma
She's so adorable!! She was chewing on her inner cheek lat the very beginning. I do that too :D
Holy shit
maybe for a native english speaker it is understandable but for
someone who has english as his second tongue i find really hard to understand that guy
where is he from ? France?
I admire that since ten years you played in the film. Musa deliver the semi Ema Watson likes.
It must have been quite hard work Congratulations!!!! :)
Haha she was pissed when he corrected her pronunciation
I love her serious face between questions. Terrible interviewer.
Natural beauty! Beauty with brain!
What is the title of Your Movie Mrs. Historical Author of the Femme oblivion
she's soo sweet and nice. obviously she is putting on that "happy face" that im sure a lot of celebrities do when they are doing interviews or anything media related for the public. but I would love to meet her and get to know her. see the real emma watson :)

You are right this interviewer asks questions that should not.Emma has muacho self-control as well as being very beautiful.
As a French girl, I can't believe that the interviewer corrected Emma's French accent while his English accent sucks !!
emma i love you so much! *.*
PHOENIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🥀❤️ Emma Watson a lot
I could die with this questions.
she's perfect...Daaamn! *.*
Quero que passa o filme Gangue de Hollywood em português completo
2:37 is a great description of a Sofia Coppola movie.
if that was me i would've walked out of that interview within the first 5 seconds
So the interviewer pretty much just asked "people think Coppola's films are shit, so why did you choose to be in one"... right.
haha @ being totally zoned out at the beginning, not making fun, huge fan here!
Actually, she doesn't need to take that back. Directors can do such amazing movies without any soundtrack, like Dogville.
You're right!
emma is adorable
That accent gets me everytime
I totally agree ...
L'accent du journaliste est épique. x)
damn she is cute in this interview
The untouchables is awesome!
Lol she can't go an interview without Harry Potter being brought up.
I wish interviewers would stop asking her about HP. We get it people! She was Hermione! But she's not anymore, Let's focus on the now, yeah?
Emma is my girl crush omg I love her so much
I haven't seen The Bling Ring yet, but I feel like it will have the same feeling to it as Springbreakers somewhat. This is awkward but Emma's so sweet
She's so beautiful...
She doesn't really speak French. She's said herself that she knows some but isn't as good as she'd like to be.
She reminds me of myself. Incredibly contagious smile. But every picture I've seen that was her minding her own business, she's very straight and in her own mind to the point she looks mean. I'm the same way... and I'm a guy btw :)
I feel so sorry for Emma having to put up with this.
Emma makes me believe that all English girls as well-mannered and brainy
emma watson il love you
