You should check out Ayumu Murase. He's my favorite JP voice actor. He voices Venti from Genshin Impact, Shoyo Hinata from Haikyu, Yuji Norita from Assassination Classroom, and a few others.
This was me realizing how many roles Bryce Papenbrook has. He goes from voicing Eren from AOT, Inosuke from Demom Slayer, and Kirito from SAO to power rangers, Cat Noir from MLB, and my personal favorite: Sultan from Disney Palace Pets 😭

Well I think her voice for Aileen in I'm the Villianness so I'm taming the final boss is also a bit rougher, her voice as Stella in Beast Tamer is a lower register as well, Sagiri from Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs is a but lower too.

The woman who voiced Hanako-kun is also insane. I forgot her name unfortunately (bad at names :( ), but she also voice acted soft voiced, gentle goddess type characters. Man, people have such flexible voices.
Her name was Ogata Megumi, a veteran voice actress who played shinji ikari from evangelion and Makoto Naegi from Danganronpa.

You should check out Aimi Terakawa or Mao Ichimichi too. They are both so talented.
The last time I was so surprised by a VA's performance was when I found out Betelgeuse(re:zero) and Kirito(SAO) were voiced by the same guy. These people are not normal.

The thing that made me think she is super amazing was when she did a segment in Isekai Quartet where Emilia was imitating Megumin.
The fact that she managed to portray that without accidentally slipping into Megumin blew me away.

Here in the Philipines, we only got 3 or 4 VA. they voice all characters. sometimes only 2 VA are needed, 1 man and 1 woman, sometimes we only need 1 woman to do all the dubbing.

Yeah, they have to shore things up a bit; for every Shin Godzilla or Ju-On, there's maybe three or four live-action FMAs. I'm guessing it's because radio didn't get pushed back as much by television over there.

Meanwhile, in the rest of the world, anime = cartoon = for kids so they don't really care, they pick whoever is available. EN dubs is slowly starting to take it seriously though

I feel seriously fucking old when it comes to seiyuu... My last favorite seiyuu were probably Itou Kanae and Tomatsu Haruka. Somehow even veterans like Takahashi Rie or Hayami Saori felt newcomers to me, and I just can't get excited about their role, fanboying a seiyuu, beyond whether the anime is good or not.
I felt stuck in the past still going gaga for old timer like Ueda Kana, Nakahara Mai, Itou Shizuka, HanaKana, Hayashibara Megumi, Noto Mamiko, etc.
She is to anime what Tara Strong is to American cartoons.

@@masterbaiter3807 it does for the same reasons I stated earlier, and because Japanese doesn't always translate well into English. Go back and watch something in dub, and then notice the immediate downgrade in word choice and dialogue. Also, depending what you're watching the dialogue or scene is cringe/ goofy to begin with. I doubt you think to yourself "Wow this voice acting is great!" When a school girl tells her male class mate that he's a silly baka perv for staring at her 2d boobs.
