They are always shown as professionals, GPs, consultantants, Barristers, Solicitors. I asked why is this so? I have never seen one consultant, not one GP, not one solicitor, pharmacist who is black? Why are they not represented a bus train drivers, cleaners? The BBC said it did not want to show them in thier typical roles and it did not want to show them in a positive light. I then asked the pertinent question why are Brown skin males mainly Hindu and Sikhs as they show with a turban with a thick Indian accent, and running a corner shop, when they are the ones who have become Consultants, GPs, solicitors? The BBC answer then came back as we like to portray real life situations! You know you can always trust the BBC to white wash, pun intended the truth.

Look at videos of Kingston Jamaica in the 1950s, way more developed than bombed out London in 1948! Immigrants came to a country on its knees and helped to build it up.
