Tee, The newer version has an alignment magnet. I just got mine today. But the PITAKA branding is now a brighter gray/silver, and doesn't match the natty iPhone as close as the one your reviewed.
Should the open buttons be considered sleeveless? The streets are asking.

@@Mike-ou9zdi still love the case I alternate between the Mag Ez and the Arc Pulse. Mag Ez is more of my everyday. And The Arc is my going out case.
@@lakeshow1646 nice can’t wait to get mine. I noticed something the one I ordered has a MagSafe aligner magnet whereas the ones on reviews and Pitakas website it’s just the MagSafe ring. I wonder if they’ve updated it.

Rhinoshield and Andar have the perfect branding location in my opinion. No branding on the back but rather on the “grip” side. I think that’s the perfect location since it still has the brand but doesn’t take away from the “look” of the case back
Yeah I agree I like the side branding and if it’s only the back, just do a small logo.
Pitika make some lovely cases not much protection tho but I still rock them nice one Tee 😎🇨🇮

I'm a fan of side branding. The Pitaka branding on the back is clearly too big. It ruins the beautiful design a bit.

It’s pretty simple… it makes it easier to swipe down to get to the Control Center or Notifications screen and of course access the port on the bottom and better sound easier to swipe up too

Just ordered Moonrise for 15 PM, I might go with Natural over Blue because I have Blue now and Natural just looks better with that Pitaka branding.
I have the black logo on my current Fusion Weaving case but I like the new design better with the name printed.

Please review the “memumi Magnetic Case for iPhone 15 Pro Carbon Fiber 2023”. It’s the best aramid fibre MagSafe case I’ve tried, and I’ve tried them all!
To be honest I think all cases that are mostly exposed on all 4 sides look dreadful. It’s very poor and unbalanced design wise.
These have great graphics and could look great instead it looks like someone stood on them and partly broke them.
I got a super slim case from Nudient and it enclosed all 4 sides.
I don’t think it’s unbalanced at all but it’s all personal preference.
@@TechnicallyTee I just think the large cutout for the volume and action buttons on the left-side is at odds with the smaller cutout on the right side for the power button. Something small with no symmetry is poor design. Their full coverage cases are really nice though.
@@DeeDeeDanone I'm guessing you have never used a case like this with the sides and top and bottom out. If you had, you might like the feel of the buttons on the phone better than being in a case. Having the bottom cutout has another advantage - no blocking the charger port which allows any cable to connect and not be blocked. As for the "balance" - it is balanced having all four sides or even just the left and right sides exposed. To say the cutouts have to match each other is not important, it might be said it gives the phone more style like that.

I think it would have been great to see a direct comparison of this to the latercase. I went back to your previous video though and compared, an extra five grams and 0.09mm thickness for MagSafe seems well worth it. Just wish this had the LaterCase camera cover and it would be perfect.
I had been patiently waiting on an Andar preorder for over a month but I might cancel and get this. I’ve used Pitaka Air and Latercase the last few cycles but finally got heavy into MagSafe with the popsocket sale a few months ago.
Yeah man if a case doesn’t have MagSafe then I can’t rock with it. Latercase just need to make the case slightly thicker and add MagSafe.
I was praying it passed the mag shake test because it was looking like if it didn’t it would fly off and hit your logo. 😂

Case looks awesome wish they would do something about the labelling tho. More like benks would be better, kind of ruins the aesthetic when it’s plastered like that on the back.

Yeah branding will kind of mess up a case and if they want to add it, then cool or course but they just need to be a little more subtle.
hmm the camera cutting is a bit too tight.. i have a camera protector, and it doesnt fit.. smh..
Magsafe is a dealbreaker, no alignment magnets .... as a heavy magsafe wallet user, just can't have that ....

Would you pick this MagEz5 over the Latercase? In terms of grip, thinness, and comfort, would you say this version finally feels similar to Latercase? Putting MagSafe aside
They both are really comfortable honestly. I really like Latercase because I think it gives a little more grip

I haven’t because I honestly not the biggest fan of it. Especially with the Anker Cube and 737 on the market for cheaper.

Benks is really nice… I wonder if it’s also made by Pitaka… they are both based in China. I ordered a Glass Warrior with mine.
In fact they have an open design and pro design that looks exactly like the black grey twill. They closed off the top and bottom on the open minimalist design probably so we wouldn’t figure it out.

Not true… I use mine for work and have dropped it 40-50 times. Once from my hip in a construction zone and it shattered the screen protector but no damage to the phone or case. I broke another screen protector too but still the phone and case look brand new.
If you do drop it usually it lands on the corners and doesn’t damage the phone. I have a 13 Pro Max and it’s 2 years old now (bought it in January 2022).
Perfect condition and the Pitaka Fusion Weaving case (Rhapsody) is in perfect condition.

Supposed to be 13g on the Mag ez case 15 case but it's says 18 to 17gram
Mine is 18-23… it’s the Fusion Weaving Case that came out in 2021. They are all 1500d… except the new ones are 600d and they are lighter plus the new Slimboard 2.0 and thinner case - 0.75mm

Had this case; upset with each side exposed, MagSafe magnets are very weak, and the price is absurd. It's really just the design that is good on it. Best alternative is BENKS 💯
Sounds like you’re upset with the design of the case. That’s something you should’ve known going into it. Pitaka are made to cater to a certain audience. Benks for sure is solid but you’re not getting any color variations and designs nowhere else.
@@TechnicallyTee I went in knowing for sure, but for that price I might as well just not even use a case. Returned it and went for Benks that's less than half the cost. If Pitaka would have just covered the side and had better magnets, easily would have kept it.

@@TechnicallyTee Is it only my Pitaka MagEZ Case 4 pro is not symmterical, means looking from top right it comes more towards screen as compared to the other side.
this case is the equivalent of putting on a condom with a big whole in it , it looks like you’re protected but you’re actually not, isn’t the purpose of a case to protect your phone 😅😅🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Some people don’t need as much protection, also some people don’t really like cases at all and if that’s the case, they can run something like this.

To much I sent my Milky Way back the MagSafe was so poor probably the worst on the market I am feeling spigen at the moment got frosted black for 17 pound the MagSafe is one of the best out there then the enzo got 29.99 on offer pitaka taking the piss Littel bit I have there pro 4 and the enzo better in my opinion what are they like 16.000 in rank selling cases even there car mount crap gave it my sister and kept my esr for half the price but 10 times better there product not worth it at all so they bring new case out make MagSafe bit stronger and charge 70 pound for it it’s laughable
