Kinta FX combines an LED derby effect, laser and SMD strobe in one compact fixture. These effects can be coordinated to create a variety of exciting looks that feature multicolored derby beams, dynamic strobes and chases plus hundreds of sharp red and green laser beams. Control this versatile fixture easily via DMX, master/slave, optional IRC-6 remote or its digital display. Multiple units can be power linked to save time running cables and extension cords. Fits best in the CHS-30 VIP Gear Bag.

If I want to use this at a wedding, are there pre programmed sound active chases that don't use the laser or strobe. I would like to use it but for sure turn off the strobe easily, because there is always that one guest who complains. Literally on my first gig ever a lady had a seizure and I had to turn all my lights off for the rest of the show. You can say I'm a little paranoid. Haha
+Joshua Newton We understand why you would be paranoid. We did think about this situation when we were developing this unit. that is why there are 7 different auto and sound programs. Here is the list of the auto and sound programs that is located in the user manual.
Program Effect
*1 All effects
*2 Beam and Strobe
*3 Beam and Laser
*4 Laser and Strobe
*5 Beam Only
*6 Strobes Only
*7 Laser Only
Hey thanks. Sounds great. I only buy Chauvet for all my lighting needs. You all are the best in the industry hands down.
Very happy and pleased with my new Kinta FX!
Dear Chauvet, can you please please please tell us what is the name of that track used for this demo ???
It’s called whisper by Levitone
Kinta hp its better?
Can I use it by itself at home with no other professional equipment connected to it?
i will answer that yes you can plug it in enable sound mode and of it goes
What is the Chanel on this dj light for? I set my Chanel nothing happen like I mean no light on when I set the chanel
the different channels are for if you're using DMX or ILS?

Will any of you guys recommend this for a permanent fix in a night club?
I wish there was a light like this that would just change color and move in a slow atmospheric speed. I like moving lights, but the frenetic pace and strobes are completely not wanted for the kind of music my band plays. What products would be better for atmospheric slow groove rock?
You can adjust the speed of the movement and sensitivity of the sound modes within the menu of the fixtures if you are using sound active mode, but if you are using DMX you can control the exact speed, movement, and strobe rate of our moving heads.
I tried the sound active parameters of a Mini Kinta without much luck. Couldn't get it not to flash. Even bought a remote. I'll try out a regular Kinta next time I'm at a Guitar Center. I'll be using the new light with my existing 6 SlimPAR 38s Trying to avoid a full-blown DMX setup since that adds a fair amount of setup time to my band load-in. Thanks.
I can't get this light work with a Obey 3 for the life of me. help please
Jose, thanks for reaching out. Please contact our customer service by sending an email to chauvetcs@chauvetlighting.com and they will help troubleshoot this issue with you!
Is this easily used in combination with the Foot C and 4 slim pars?
+BigHamm007 We would recommend using the Kinta FX in 2CH
mode. that way you will not use up two fixtures in the controller.
I have the Kinta FX, and the Obey 70.
Is there a way to make the white strobes actually strobe?
The channel for the strobe on the dmx controller only makes the white leds turn on in sequence, but not all of them flash on and off at once. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks
To get all the whites strobe on at the same time bring the strobe fader between values 170-179 to do a solid strobe from slow to fast.
Hi Chauvet DJ.
I figured out how to get the SMD LED's to strobe.
In the manual, the "Strobe" channel is labeled as channel 4.
While channel 6 is labeled "Pattern Options".
That is deceiving. But,
Channel 6 (Pattern Options) controls the SMD LED Strobe.
Channel 4 (Strobe) is used to make the RGBW LED's to strobe.
I am writing this in case somebody else has the same issue.
Thanks.
Looks amazing! But both of my original Kinta's have broken so not sure on this.
+BMOᵛᶠˣ We are sorry that you had a problem with your units. If your units are under two years old then you still covered under warranty. Here is the customer service phone number (954) 577-4455 option 4
What would be cool for this light is if it was instead of the shape it is for it to be a cone that way you could have like a wall
Would these be compatible with Avolites Titan One?
+Ryan Lockett They should be, yes.
I just bought a brand new Kinta FX. It looks NOTHING like this video! Very disappointed!!
Hmm... Could you please elaborate?
@@CHAUVETDJ Sure. I used it for the first time this past weekend and it was very dim. I actually looked around a few times to be sure it was still working. The light in this video seems very bright and much more "active" than mine ever would. I went through all of the pre-sets on the remote, but not much changed. Am I doing something wrong?
There are too many variables here for us to figure out why your unit appears to not be responding to the remote/other. Please contact chauvetcs@chauvetlighting.com for troubleshooting so we can get this working well for you.
CHAUVET DJ thanks.
Are you using a smoke machine?
I had the same initial disappointment until I got a £40 one and wow..a whole, whole different light emerges
