Speaking of bullies, It's great that society is finally addressing the issue. I went to school in the 1960s and there was a lot of bullies in those days. And they got away with it too. If you complained they would say "Get over it. It'a all a part of growing up." Some people go too far and then you end up situations like Columbine.

Especially those last months, then weeks, then days, then hours, then minutes, then seconds, then... nothing. Their heart has been stopped, and their soul goes to Hell, if they didn't make things right with God. I don't even WANT to know the mounting terror that they feel, just before they're laid out on that bed, strapped in place, have the needle inserted into their vein, then having to endure the 3 different poisons, as they enter their bloodstream... which finally stops their heart from beating. And why do they have to face Death like this? Because, somewhere along the way, they willfully made the evil choice to take a life!

It is their business to earn money selling bodies to the death row. The INNOCENT PROJECT HAS ALREADY HELPED SOME WRONG CONVICTED PEOPLE TO AVOID BEING EXECUTED ! One was the case that prosecutor has intentionally hidden the fact of innocence such as DNA ! And the INNOCENT PROJECT PROGRAM DISCOVERED THAT AND REOPENED THE COURT CASE TO SAVE THAT PERSON’S LIFE !!!! It is not easy, and people need to support such program to save the wrong convicted !!! LET IT BE JUSTICE, not “Tualetise” !!!!

Because they are entitled to a very lengthy, and very expensive, appeals process. It costs more to execute a person than to keep them for life.
The appeals process is to make absolutely, 100% certain that the person is guilty. Unfortunately, the system doesn’t always work.

I've waited decades for them to address the issue. The pain never goes away, and when you think it has, more bullying brings it all back. I hope that one day anyone who bullies in school has a PERMANENT MARK put on them - so that no one ever has to accidentally hire anyone who destroyed someone's life with words. It is UNFORGIVEABLE and the parents of bullies are probably bullies who grew up and bred.

They have given up their right to live among us. What is inhumane is them dying an essentially painless death when their victims died a violent and often terrifying death. The gas chamber is the most appropriate way for them to die. They need to feel the fear and pain they placed their innocent victims through in the last moments of their lives.

I guess it should be scrutinized more, since we also have put innocent men, children and women to death here in the States. I also have an idea! Since the State governments are having a hard time getting the "cocktail" of chemicals for lethal injection? All they have to do is buy from the chinese what they are putting in the USA heroin supply! CARFENTANIL is easily purchased on the cheap cheap from China, It will kill death row inmates dead dead DEAD with zero pain then all can be happy! I am against the death penalty only because of innocent lives it has taken, not for the sake of a child molester/killer, granny raper/killer. Life in prison should suffice, it's not a holiday, its not a spa, it can be made cost effective, and it gives those who have been unjustly convicted a chance.

The primary purpose of the death penalty isn’t to lower crime it's to deliver justice. Murder by it's definition involves killing in a manner that breaks the law, so to say it's legal murder immediately negates it as murder. In war it's not murder, self-defense is not murder. A civilized society delivers justice to fit the crime.

Muslims are not allowed to hold prayer in public areas but all be confined inside the mosque, unlike in the West, which creates nuisance, inconsiderate, bullying traffic blockage. Anyone dare say "Sharia will rule the world" will be arrested and detained without trial, unlike in the West, Muslims openly curse "The Queen Go To Hell", "Islam Will Rule America" and burning of the America flag in the USA itself. The death penalty is NOT a deterrent. The World bank &FBI figures prove it, time and again. States with the Death penalty 4,4 Per 100, 000 as opposed to 3,3 for states eithout it. The USA has the highest rates of intentional murder in the western world. Comparing USA to Europe the rate is approx double in the USA.
You need to check the facts. Further approx 3% of all people executed are innocent.
Think again when you wish to justify your position.

Its no longer that peaceful. Our country has been getting the necessary drugs from other countries, who are now refusing to provide us with drugs meant to kill other humans. Prison wardens are obtaining less than efficient, sometimes unwittingly buying fake meds now, tho they won't say from where, and as a result inmates are screaming, writhing in pain and suffocating in front of the witnesses during their executions.
Yeah, ditto with surgeries-isn't that feeling of fading away from the anesthetic WONDERFUL? I fight it mentally just to enjoy the feeling a little longer ;)

Doctors, due to the Hippocratic oath, are not allowed to participate in executions, so relatively untrained prison staff actually insert the needle into a vein & start/finish the execution process. I KNOW most of you have heard about the poor inmate whose amateur executioners couldn't find a vein. They stuck this poor guy everywhere many times-arms, wrists, back of hands, feet, behind the knees, neck, chest, etc. He'd been a junkie & blew out most of his veins, & the people trying to insert the needle were incompetent when it came to finding a usable vein.Death should be HUMANE, not torture, if we have to implement the death penalty at all. www.datehookup.com/Thread-383596.htm

I am sorry to disagree with you...HUMANE???...but the way those convicted felons killed their victims are not even close to be called HUMANE. Once they committed those crimes they stop having any rights. I can't imagine having a family member being killed and feel bad for the one guilty of that. Actually they should be handed out to victim families if they ask for it...that could be fair enough. The lethal injection is a very nice and peaceful to die comparing with all the torture and violence of the victims suffer at or before their deaths. They are not human beings anymore after the commit all those atrocities and killings. I can't feel sorry for them...after they kill somebody they are just rabid animals and they need to be spared from doing it again.

Killing somebody to steal their money is terrible. Difficult to be lenient. Not like the perp was hungry, desperate and had no choice… at least not in USA. Which makes such crimes difficult if not impossible to forget. Equally disturbing is the willingness of the individuals to carry the actual executions for a paycheck, like pulling the trigger in a firing squad, putting a rope around somebody’s neck, electrocuting a person, lethal injection, etc. Does no compare with being the executioners of Middle Ages who did hanging, drawing, quatering… many times for minor crimes if any.

You should-groups like the Innocence Project have done the hard work and found many innocent people in our prisons and on death rows. With the proof they've dug up which was unavailable or ignored during a trial, quite a few people have been EXONERATED & immediately released from prisons. Juries can get it wrong-prosecutors can accidentally or willfully withhold info that would prove they convicted the wrong people. DNA testing wasn't available when so many people were convicted back in the day. As in an arson here where the woman was sentenced to life , it was found out that the "arson expert" who testified against her was using what's called "junk science" when it came to accellerants. That poor woman did 16 yrs for a crime she didn't commit.
Something like 4% of those in prison are INNOCENT. Now THAT'S a sickening thought.

A big problem is punishing a man who thrives in prison like Richard Speck. He enjoyed prison and he killed 8 innocent women. He had to be punished, yet got none. He even said, "If they knew how much fun I was having, they would kick me out". We also have to make sure the killers never kill again, since an escape proof prison isn't possible, the death penalty must remain for these butchers. Its the only way we can punish and prevent the death of more innocence by these people.
