Sibanye-Stillwater: Diversification and Financial Stability Pays Out in Times of Economic Downturn

I, too, don't understand the stock negativity. Sybanie-Stillwater's two-prong (South Africa-Montana) mine is, geopolitically speaking, a great asset.

The trouble with Sibanye is all of their operations are loss making right now and apart from PGM prices metals pricing are well off their lows. Hard to see it not going lower before the metal prices turns. Nickel loss making, gold/silver loss making, lithium loss making at todays prices, PGMs the only thing keeping the company from big losses and they not making much today and prices are not low historically in this space either. Lucky they have a good balance sheet

one is the ADR in the US traded and is 4 times the value of the stock. The other one is the normal common stock which I trade always on German exchanges.

Es wäre eine Überlegung Wert die Uransparte bzw die Uranprojekte separat an die Börse zu bringen und weiter einen Großteil der Aktien zu halten. Im derzeitigen Umfeld dürfte der Uranaufschlag höher ausfallen als der Südafrika Abschlag. Wäre interessant was Herr Froneman darüber denkt. 🤔

Nette Idee aber das würde ich nicht machen. Zu aufwendig und warum soll man was abgeben wenn man das selber machen kann? Wäre ein Hammer wenn SBSW auch noch URanproduzent in 2-3 Jahren wäre!

Deshalb bin ich in beidem drin! Abgesehen davon ist SBSW auch in den USA, Frankreich ,Finnland, Südamerika, Australien etc. unterwegs. Tolle Diversifikation und ich bleibe bei meinem Langfristkursziel von 10 EUR für die Aktie.
