for the enchants you can do a full scan on auctionator to get the newest prices, then do a "recipe scan" using the craft sim addon, it will check all known recipes and spit you out the best concentration/gold value atm
That's a good idea! I haven’t played it with all the settings and I will give this a go next time in on. This sounds much easier the checking the prices like I have been ☺️
Awe man I hate it when they make mounts limited time to get I'll never have that cute jello cat because of that. Also how much do you make a day from just your patron orders?
Yeah, the deadline really introduced fomo for me ☺️ Every 2 or so days I make 500 to 1000g which would cover most repair bills during the week. But the big thing is it giving you the knowledge points you need to get your crafting skill high enough to list crafter gear on the ah at max quality. Being able to make that pioneer gear at rank 5 with bronze mats really improves the profit margins.
At first the auction dinosaurs offended me because the gall and greed Blizzard demonstrated by charging $90 for it....that and people would park the damned things right between the Auction House and a mailbox. The Auction House though really is a game within the game and having my finger tips on it out in the field has really been invaluable, especially since I paid for it with game gold. No way would I fork over real world money for it. If I were even more hardcore I would really study the buying software the gold farmers are using, not really to use it myself so much, but as to understand and manipulate what the auto-buy programs are doing. Also its worth making a level 1 mule on other servers to see what everything is going for everywhere. I know there have been times I wanted an expensive pet and found them for peanuts comparatively in some obscure server on the other side of the world. That might be particularly handy with expensive mats if you're a crafter.
Thanks for the tip! Yeah, I was determined not to buy the mount with real cash and didn’t quite make it this time. Now that I’m doing the ah trading I can really see the benefit it could provide. I have thought about alts on other servers, and I might consider it, but I don’t want to end up spending all my wow time logging between characters to check the ah (i might get obsessive 😂)
I have had a play with undermine exchange recently to see if I could see some trends. I didn’t think to check for other realms and how the prices might be different. Thanks for the suggestion :)
Material that is stackable is region wide aka it doesn't matter from which realm you buy them they cost the same. But things like bags armor or other nonstackable could be sold for more on other realms
Keep at it!
I will, thank you 🤩

Undermine exchange has the prices of items on all realms you can check on there instead of making a char just to look at the ah

@BloodqueenLeonie Good to know. I wasn't sure about the rules or if things changed with the Warband bank.
