I'm finally playing Doki Doki Literature Club! In this case the Plus version on Nintendo Switch. I'm going into the game blind other than a couple of memes I've caught along the internet so please no spoilers in chat and yes that includes giving active content warnings live in chat. I have heard this is a dark game so if you need to search up content warnings, please do and decide for yourself if the game is too dark for you, but otherwise let's enjoy this playthrough together, blind.

Ⅶ. No Emote spam. Emotes should only make up part of a comment's text. The only exception to this is pre/post chat and big moments like rainbow supa or if I ask for an emote in chat. Even then only send 3 emotes per chat.
Ⅷ. No mentioning sub-counts or viewer numbers unless I already brought up the topic.
Ⅸ. Do not send Superchats or Donations asking for me to say a specific thing. I don't want you wasting your money and I won't do it.
Ⅹ. Superchats, Streamlabs donations and memberships will be read at the beginning and end of each stream so as to not distract from the main topic, but there are times I am unable to. Treat donations as a gift rather than a demand for attention, and don't feel obligated to send them.
Ⅺ. For donations of a personal or heavy nature I will read them silently. I am not a therapist and you shouldn't rely on me for validation or consultation. If someone has been overly rude or antagonistic in a single message, I have in the past and will in the future, skip straight to a ban at my own discretion.

Otsufu! It was really fun experiencing DDLC with you, felt really refreshing watching someone get drawn in and experiencing it all over again from a fresh perspective. There were times I wish some of the theories you had were the actual plot rather than the main storyline, great analysis and voice acting and it's fascinating poking around for the extras in the 'game files'!

I saw someone in chat mention Skulduggery Pleasant while Fulgur was talking about YA novels and OOOOMG. I was SO obsessed with that series in high school, and whoever you are, bless your soul. The Spook's Apprentice was another amazing book series.

Now that you've finished the main game, I'd recommend checking out Monika's Talk. It lists out all the dialogues she has during your "zatsu" with her. She has about 55 topics (which would take up to 2hrs if played out naturally; whoever said "11hrs"? you got one guy'd again haha) ranging from casual conversation like weather, dates, spicy food, stay-at-home partner etc. to more interesting ones like how it feels to die, her thought about God, bad days, Sayori's struggle right before her death, depression, burnout, nihilism, character archetypes, the cycle of school system or even that one time Yuri brought alcohol to the club. This was honestly the part I looked forward to the most and wanted to hear what you think. Not only was it the best time to get to know who Monika is as a person but also sparked some good topics for a zatsu. It humanized her and made her my 2nd best girl though not in the sense of "I wanna date her" like with Yuri but more like "I want to have a chat with her". Unfortunately RNG didn't give you interesting topics and I guess you ran out of patience with her (?) so her part was cut short. I do enjoy your reaction to Arc 2 though, the crazy theories were fun. You were somehow crazier than what the game actually was lmao.
Also I'm gonna be a bit of a Monika's defender here but I see one of the big reasons some people hate Monika is because she tampered with other girls and drove them to end themselves. But, unless you're the type who keeps your moral even for a video game and doesn't mess with the game at all, I think you (general "you" btw) as the player is not that above her in that regard. You keep closing and re-opening the game even though she said it was very painful and felt like she was killed, you deleted character files multiple times even at the cost of Sayori going through that same horrible experience and ended up killing herself too, you experimented on many ways to mess with that world, hell, Sayori's corpse was left dangling in the corner of the screen just to see if something else happen. Monika did what she did because she thought that was the only way she could ever reach to you, her only way out of this simulation. You, the player, did what you did because you're simply curious. To you, she and the other girls were just video game characters. It's the same for Monika, to her all of her friends were just video game characters as well. You can't blame her for being cruel if you're doing the same thing especially when she regretted it at the end and brought everyone back. I also see some people being disappointed that Monika's motive turned out to be just "love" or "obsession". As Fuuchan has pointed out it's not that simple for her. It's not just "you" she's obsessed with, it's the idea which you represent: "reality". It doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl, it doesn't matter who you are, even if it's not you but someone else playing the game, I think she would still love you all the same. Because what she loves is the existence of a whole other world full of possibilities outside of her simulation. I guess that's why she felt so betrayed when you deleted her, "you just want to torture me" like the Creator did to her by putting her into that world.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing Natsuki and Sayori's routes. I don't remember how much Natsuki's situation was mentioned in her route? but I hope you'll check out her secret poem if you want. The game really did amazing at making all characters likeable and relatable.

seeing this game hold up so well (disregarding the new added parts that made it more refined) after 6+ years and seeing fuuchan give it such praise for reading streamers so well really highlights what a classic of a game ddlc is. and this is taking into account the original ddlc was made by one dude, music, story, programming (minus art, but basically what toby fox did) - the works. also seeing fuuchan pick up on every little hint and predict what would happen to a near perfect trajectory was such a treat.
especially little things like when monika said "don't strain yourself~" when the mc was running to sayori and fuuchan made the extrapolation of monika meaning, "mc, you didn't wake her up, you didn't go out of your way to care about her or her feelings before you came here, why are you bothering to care now?" those little analyses every now and then really made ddlc gameplay such a delight since i saw some things in a different light despite seeing countless gameplays of it by different streamers.

Otsufuu, congrats on finishing the game! It’s such a wild ride xD As I said, the twists don’t have the same impact once you know what to expect, but it’s still such an interesting game, I think that the developers were very clever and knew exactly what they wanted this to be :) It was also very fun to see the reaction in the chat of those who were seeing it for the first time xD I had so much fun, and I loved to hear your thoughts about the game, thanks for the stream ❤❤❤

Another fun fact here: not all but a bunch of the scares and events have a slight chance of showing up. It's one of the reasons I love watching people play this game, no playthrough is the same. I'll continue the VOD while I do my happy dance at you picking Natsuki's route
