But since 3 of them died in the battle, that is why shunsui would be the best candidate to replace Yamamoto, as he is the oldest captain left compared to the rest of the other captains who are much younger than him. Not because shunsui is stronger than unohana. remember that, unohana is the 2nd original of squad 13 of soul society together with Yamamoto before shunsui & ukitate (3rd & 4th original member) even enter the squad. plus, shunsui admits himself he is afraid of unohana coz he knows her true colour and the fact as she is a powerful criminal monster. She fought Zaraki when he was young, and he injured her, but she was the one standing at the end of their battle, she defeated him, but not killed him, so it wasn't conclusive. However Unohana did saw on him a power bigger than hers, cuz he wasn't at his major, without any training, shikai or bankai. At some point, she left the 11th divition, and someone succeed her. The 11th divition had 9 captains after Unohana, till Zaraki earn the title of Kempachi, killing the last one of thoes, but the tradition started after Unohana left. In their last battle Unohana left Zaraki in the bones many times, but she quickly healed him back, cuz again, she was stronger. Only after she unleash his potential, she was able to be killed, announcing that he was finnally stronger than her.

The main captain from the start of the series was strong than the older captain like Shinji, Rose, Love & Kensei, these 4 captain can't win against their own enemies, but younger captain like Soifon, Komamura & Mayuri all have defeated their enemies by their own, those 4 old captain releases their bankai's and then lost, as we know Komamura change his bankai, some improvement, Byakuya also have a new bankai, Mayuri the bankai is reborn, Kenpachi just knew bankai, Hitsugaya as we all shock that actually he has the transformation if his bankai end to it's limit, so for me older captain have no improvement like Love, Rose & Kensei accept for Shinji, he is the only one never released his bankai, maybe it's not the time or he's too strong, even though Yamamoto is still stronger than Shunsui, but this new captain like Kotetsu Isane, Tetsuzaimon Iba, Yadomaru Lisa we don't know yet
with the exception of the first Gotei 13, the new generations always got stronger, the only difference is that we never saw the most recent Gotei 13 in combat

I think Soi Fon should be in the 1983 AD part. I remember their conversation with Yoruichi that she automatically succeeded her position after Yoruichi left the 2nd Division. It was also noted that Kisuke knows Soi Fon's bankai which I think she already achieved when she's still part of Onmitsukido and being Yoruichi's personal guard. Even Yoruichi's lieutenant didn't even fill her position.
I would love to see yoruichis zan. It’s obviously a physical type but she is great at kido as well so I could even see a mix between the two. Reminds me of a zan I made up years ago. In sealed it’s a tanto and when unleashed it turns into twin knuckle dusters that imbued all strikes with kido spells. Once you chant or create the spell once it prolongs it for every strike until you chant a different one. For bankai you call out a challenge to your opponent to a duel and if they accept it, both you and your opponent lose everything spiritual including zan abilities, spiritual pressure, spiritual enhancements of any kind also disappear. The spiritual pressure taken from both parties manifests a preset range barrier the pushes everyone besides you guys out and prevents anyone from leaving the ring

And I am not referring to Kenpachis from the novels, or even game and anime only captains - it would be nice uf You include them, but with Your timeline format it would be difficult in Amagais and Suzunamis case. You failed to mention Renjis precodessor Ginjirou Shirogane and the fact that Yasochika Iemora was promoted to lieutenant of 7th division.
If i recall correctly Yamamoto said that Shunsui and Jushiro were the first ones to graduate from his academy and become captains, I honestly don't remember if that's true or not

6 of the OG captains pulled thru, the 3 who fought the espada in hueco mundo Mayuri Byakuya Kenpachi and the 3 who fought the espada in FKT Kyoraku Soifon Hitchugaya also they are the ones who fought the ryoka in SS arc kyoraka v chad, Mayuri v Ishida, kenpachi Byakuya v Ichigo, Soifon v yoruichi, while Hitcugaya was on Gins and Aizen tail for the next arc, even in the TYBW arc when the vaizards filled up some captain seat and sqad zero is introduced, these guys are the main focus in the gotei
happy for Lisa as captain perfect pick to fill in on squad 8 and to help the new head captain, a bit sad that Hiyori is not back as squad 12 lieutenant would have been interesting watching her with Mayuri and Hachigen could have been Lisas Lieutenant and Love the captain of squad 7 so we have all the visords back Isane and Iba look extremely weak as captains especially when we have lieutenants like Renji and Hisagi and not happy for Rukia at all yeah it was nice fan service when we thought that's the end of bleach but now it fells forced and thick with plot favouritism it was hard to swallow how she got lucky with sucker punching Aeroneiro on the brink of death, than the BS how she pulls out an OP bankai out of nowhere when every character with a fresh bankai is shown to be clumsy and unstable than she gets promoted above a bunch of other characters also Byakuya should have died and Renji take up the mantle, that would have actually felt like he earned it Kubo giving in to the fan hype really brings to story down

hiyori is shinji's leutenants in 5 th division before aizen replaced her. shunsui and ukitake become the captains for almost 4 century. and I think 10th devision is kido division before aizen experiment.
Recently Died Captains Yamamoto Unohana Ukitake Gin Tosen Komamura(Technically not, but useless now in jungle as a dog) Aizen(Sealed?) It will be a while(Maybe Million of years) before the new replacements like Rukia, Iba,Lisa, Isane can even be close to their level.

7. Rukia's Lieutenant is Sentaro Kotsubaki. He was the co-3rd Seat along with Isane's sister, Kiyone Kotetsu. Both of them were promoted into Lieutenants at the same time with Sentaro staying in the 13th and Kiyone transferred to the 4th.
That aside, I'm confused, the voice in this video sounds like a mix of a non-native English speaker (due to how many English words that's been mispronounced + the forced English-accent of those Japanese names + those Japanese names also have a lot of mispronounciations) and it sounds unnatural like an AI-generated voice (robotic). All at the same time. Is it really your voice?
