Thanks for the reaction. Great song, great voice and guitars. Tarja often photographs herself without makeup. She's beautiful with and without it. And I like to see her happy with her "new" musicians. But until now, I still don't understand the masked scars from this video. I don't remember those scars appearing in any official video.
The scars are from the photo session for the cover art of What Lies Beneath. If you look closer you'll notice that there's a lot of scars being hidden in the shadows.

Hello, I have a question. Why Tarja composed this song? I like this song. I mean, that she composed falling awake, because she wanted to express how she felt in Nightwish. When I´m wrong, please correct me.Alternatively, tell me your opinion. Thank you.
I think a lot of her songs have references to NW. It was a big chapter and trauma in her life so it would make sense. And vice versa: many fans see references to Tarja NW even on the Imaginaerum album.
I remember Tarja saying that Falling Awake (at least partially) was about how there are people in the world who can control their dreams. She added that her husband can do that. Though, that doesn't mean that there aren’t any NW references in it.

Me too, this is my favorite song from her solo career. The chorus, especially the last one, feels so... "full", don't know how to explain it.
