My brain simply cannot fathom the 40kg /800bhp electric motor in this car. Koenigsegg is right there among the greatest engineers and car manufacturers in the history of automotive.
The man is a hard working genius.
And to think they are like 100 people actually working with the cars
It’s a very innovative, well engineered, and power dense motor; however, it can be argued that, unlike ICE, the motor is the simple part and getting the power to the motor is much more complicated. In all likelihood, the dark matter is likely two quarks strapped together and 60 degrees out of phase. The real magic is in the 800 volt architecture, and the fact that even at 800v it’s capable of delivering a fairly massive 750amps.
ive said it before ill say it again. koenigsegg is the pinnacle of car manufacturing technology. Most hypercars i really dont understand why theyre worth so much.. like sure its all carbon blah blah blah. its really not much different than their super car counter parts. but with koenigsegg the price makes sense. theyre doing stuff that other manufacturers physically dont know how to. i just hope that their engine and transmission technology can trickle down to main stream vehicles before electric cars take over completely.

I think cars fit into tiers. There are few cars equal to the Chiron. But there are some. Koenigsegg by contrast is in its own tier. Nothing matches them. They are the pinnacle of

Dark Matter electric motor is INSANE!!!! I know his next car will be a mix of 4 of the 40kg electric motor making 800hp...1 by wheel, 3200hp....And im pretty sure they'll make it 1000hp by next year i know christian will do it 😂

even though this is technology only a small percentage of mankind can afford.. i see the leap the Dark matter engine has made in the electric motor can have a trickle down effect.
Take another Swedish brand, Volvo Trucks. Their Electric motors in their Electric trucks consist of 2-3 motors (depending on the configuration) and has an output of between 330-490 kW (depending on the configuration). So, if you can save the amount of motors needed for electric while giving more output i think it would be great for other OEM´s as well.
So in other words Dark Matter could cost 3x more then other motors and still hold a greater value for other OEM´s.. truly innovating!

CVK and Horacio Pagani need to do a collaboration project. Pagani should drop amg and adopt a brand for their motors that shares their style of vision and passion.
This is so innovative it’s ridiculous. It’s the next generation of the Lamborghini Espada a 4 seater stupid car, that just matches the then current super car. The Koenigsigg Germera is absolutely the most cool, yet insane car,on the planet, a 2,300 HP with multiple drivetrain configurations this thing is beyond nuts it’s the supreme definition of “nuts”, God I wish I had the withal to but one.
I cant even imagine the car that will come with four of thoose dark matter engines or why stop? How about eight?😮

Insurance alone will be more than most people can afford.
A single repair will be more than most people can afford.
Low slung cars are ridiculously uncomfortable to drive for any distance.
Terrible visibility.
A simple EV sedan is just about as fast.
Would have seemed cool when I was 14. Just seems a ridiculous waste of effort and resources now. Cars like this usually end up totaled within a few years, or are rarely driven because they are uncomfortable and for fear of something happening to them. How many hyper cars with 100k miles on them?

@@juanpablodelossanto7220 lol - Just because I can’t afford it doesn’t mean I’m jealous. I have zero interest in something like this. If I really wanted a fast car, I would look at a Tesla Model X Plaid. It can also be used as a “regular” car. But fast cars aren’t appealing to me. I’m fine with the comfort and utility of a luxury SUV.
What is great about this car is al the new tech that other cars can benefit from. Maybe not directly but the thought process to innovation. He's preparing a lot of meals for thought.
