I prefer veg tanned leather that is smooth without defects. Which is why I always buy leather in person where I can pick out the best piece instead of buying leather online.
One of my favorite reasons for living so close to Weaver Leather is that I get to pick through the hides. I just left there a little while ago!
I wish there was a Weaver Store near me.

Weaver Select is my favorite bar none. I got a new 8/9 on Monday. Nothing like opening that box and that smell filled rooms of my house.
I get all my leather from Weaver. All in all, great leather. Wish I was closer.
