Uncle Geoffrey, wishing you a good morning ...we are having our porridge, pot of tea and toast ....we wondering if lemon curd could be added to the sables .. have you any plans or new treats added to the shopping list
@@geoffsbakingblog I better hide that info from uncle Percy ...what a heavenly idea ... Would love to see you make a homemade lemonade some time ...your skill would bring it to another level as everything is meticulously thought out . Something we all love and respect ... A lemonade by you would be incredible ..yes that's official request from the boys .
Oh GEOFF YOU KNOW I LOVE LEMON 🍋✨THEY LOOK GREAT...🍋.... WEATHER REPORT OVERCAST AN HUMID.. YUK..☔... HAVE YOU EVER MADE LEMON PUFF BISCUITS (I CAN'T REMEMBER IF YOU HAVE.... I NEVER SEE THEM IN THE SHOPS THESE DAYS THEY WERE POPULAR IN THE 70S I THINK ANYWAY.. JUST A HINT 😉✨TAKE CARE MY LOVELY ❤️
Hi Henrietta. I love lemon too, of course. Quite a nice day here today, not too warm. I have discussed lemon puff biscuits with my sister Margaret, but haven't come up with a good recipe of the puff biscuits yet. They are more akin to cream crackers than puff pastry. I can buy Bolands from Tesco and Sainsbury and another brand in Asda, but neither seems to have the slightly tacky feel that I remember from years ago.
@@caz12345 I couldn't help but mention Caz , the choir won't be singing much with these delights .. munching away and a refreshing pot of tea . To invigorate the taste buds and vocal chords . Have a lovely day .
HI Zoe. I haven't tried them without almonds. You would have to replace them with at least the same amount of flour. Then texture is likely to be different too.
They look lovely Geoff I'd like to see you make some fruit shortie biscuits buddy
Hi Bill. Thanks. I did make some fruit shortcake about 10 years ago, before I was doing videos. May be time to do them again.
Thanks, Geoff, as usual you never disappoint with your delectable delights.
Hi Susannah. Thanks very much.
Lovely recipe - fresh and light for summer. Thanks Geoff
Hi Brendie. Thanks very much.

Good morning Mary. Thanks, they are very tasty.

HI Sir Barney. I wouldn't add lemon curd to the biscuits. But you could sandwich them together with some.

Thanks for the video. I hope the weather has cool off. It is hard to bake in hot weather
Oh yes, it a bit cooler now. Thankfully.
Will these biscuits turn out okay if I leave out the almonds?I don't like almonds.
