- Sorry that it tooks so long to make this video... been "busy". This is video is about me trying the Sherman DIGITIG 200GD AC/DC welder. I'm a complete beginner at tig welding so bear with me. Test pieces were 50mm alu tube that was found from scrap bin.
Thoughts from welder:
- no functional issues
- torch cable could more flexible
Found out following:
- is not so easy as it looks youtube
- practice is the key
- pedal would be nice with handling the heat
- ergonomic position for welding really helps
Also tried tig and stick(mma) welding with normal steel - no problems.
Would you like see something more specific about the machine?
thank you for showing how you work with it. I probably won't make such seams. but I think that it is necessary to start.
Электрод нужно ещё больше выдвинуть , что то мало он выступает. ))))))
I got same machine to day and not bad weld out of the box
Yes, this seems to be decent machine!
Is your high frequency arc start stuck or something?
Hi interested video can you please let us know how this tig welder is going 1year on
I must have missed the interesting bit 😂
can you tell me what setting you finished on when you where getting satisfactory welds, thanks
Sorry, cant remember. Good settings seems to be varing in relation of the of part temp. Hotter part=lower amps and so on. I would guess that foot pedal might be handy while welding alu.
nice
More practice
Sa jakies postepy w nauce spawania?
Nie ma. Dno i wodorosty

Fuck me that's a noisy welder, i was going to buy this model, not anymore now, a tip for ya, try the pulse setting and just fusion weld ali first, gives you some settings to grasp onto, not bad mate, keep at it, practice makes perfect.
Thanks for the advice. Figured out that fusing without filler is easier while practicing. And yes, the welder is quite noisy with the fan always on and full speed. If it becomes too annoying i'm planning to modify them to be temp controlled. With this price, I cant complain thou.
