With all the advantages Moscow has the gains over the initial 4 months have been miniscule. Try zooming out and check the maps since Bakhmut to now. That's Russia at full bore. Not particularly impressive. Mighty invincible Russia indeed. Putin needs his botox that's for sure.
I just realised - there are 2 Vovcha rivers in (current) Ukraine. One on the North in Kharkov Oblast (88 km long), flowing through Vovchansk where they're currently positionally fighting; and the other one on the Southeast in Donetsk Oblast, flowing through Kurakhove (323 km long). I thought it was the same river !
World War One had a very high lethality in the first few weeks in Belgium and Alsace-Lorraine but I don't know how it stacks compared to the end with a much larger mobilization.
Good comedians put the truth directly to power. He was a very good comedian. Not so good at power itself. Until Putin pushed him into the role of his life. Such is irony. Make up whatever you like to make yourself feel better.
Read a history of the end of the Vietnam War and how the US abandoned the government of South Viet Nam or the end of the Afghan War in 2021. You will get an idea of what the coming collapse will look something like. The front lines have been largely static until this year but Russian advances now grow larger on a daily basis. Eventually, like the the Army of the Republic of Vietnam in 1975, something will give. The entire rotten structure will cave in. The war in South Vietnam dragged on for decades and then the entire front collapsed in a few weeks.
Would the flooding due to the burst Dam as talked about @2:50 not be greatly beneficial to the Russian forces because it will flood any cellars, tunnels, bunkers etc, destroying / damaging, or making (for example) ammunition in a flooded cellar unobtainable, it will also hit morale because no-one likes being cold and wet.!
Water flooding the towns and villages will possibly flood the basements meaning the Ukraineans wouldn't be able to use them if the village or town is attacked meaning potentially faster clearing times per building along with less hiding places against bombing
Yea you can say so but does serbia take taxes from kosovo, does it have any sort of control in kosovo? Answer is no and that will not change. That is reality, you can keep writing that kosovo is serbia but that will not change anything. Not saying it shouldnt be serbia...
@@UsifisEditing Actually, it has to do everything with Russo-Ukrainian war. It's the first modern precedent of strong foreign power (NATO in that case) takes a sovereign territory of a country recognised from United Nations (Serbia or rather Yugoslavia at the time, in that case). Russia is mentioning that case very often because they're saying that their attack on Ukraine is absolutely not an exception.
does the detonation of the dam also mean that it will be harder for the RUAF to bombard Kurakhove from the back (from the geographic north) with the Reservoire, which will be gone soon? Like the settlement is kind of trapped ot the body of water. With that gone, they could counter attack out of it towards the Russians?
4:16 No it wouldn't. It doesn't benefit either side since the Ukrainians would have to deal with the water too. It doesn't really matter the size of the flooding, because it's still a flood. It's more like a stalemate around that specific area at best.
Again too many speculations in Kursk region for anyone liking Until you receive enough clear information - no report about the direction, marking zone with grey and that's all Doing prediction is absolutely ungrateful and quite unwise work
That NATO can still create "counter attacks" in Russia's own house (e.g., Kursk) makes me want to puke, because not only does this make no sense, it shows how weak Russia actually is. No amount of explanations can explain away enemies within the gates.
@martinoconserva9718 Wut? For over 3 months there are enemies in your house, taking family members to be sold for body parts, deploying chemical and biological weapons from their CIAduh weapons labs near the northern border of Ukraine doing research to find genetic weapons that will unlive Russians the most effective and efficiently, deployed all over your house, and I'm the guy that's "not clever?" Are you for real!? You do realize you only have to infect a small minority of Russians in Kursk, even just soldiers, and it will spread across the whole country unliving indiscriminately!? You think in NATO/Russia prisoner swaps, they haven't infected their prisoners to try to unlive as many ppl in Russia they could? You think NATO wouldn't do that!?
Doesn't the fact that NATO that creates counterattacks in Russia's own house is the same NATO that fails to stop the Russian advance in Ukraina's house make you think a little?
@@Scrat335 Also, while Kiev occupies un-disputedly Russian land, it can be presented as more justifiable that Russia advances into (far more valuable) land which is, for the moment, un-disputedly Ukrainian. I wouldn't be aiming to liberate Sudzha until Odessa is safe.

Does anybody have the feeling that Russia intends to take back the city of Odessa which was built by Catherine the Great?
Sure they would want to, but with how things are that is nothing but a wild dream
