Damn boi is smooth af 🔥
Growing up, I always saw her as a Disney princess. I just wish they put her in the lineup. ❤️💖💎
Same
For real.
She was so cool.
Damn I love this movie. Her character design at the end was flawless.
2:20
Also Bro in the back lookin good also ngl.
2 minutes not straight, because you totally had a crush on her when you were little
How did you know😞
Maybe instead of doing remakes, Disney should just re-release all their underrated films. They wouldn't lose as much money.
That’s a good idea, so obviously they aren’t gonna do it
Too much good idea for them, they could ruin even their underrated good movies
She's hot, pretty and she's voice by Cree Freakin' Summer!!! I always hear her raspy voice in most of Cartoon that she's in it. But this, didn't expect her voice to be that sexy.
Jeez I never put that together till now.
She also rarely plays a clam character like Kida so there's also that cause Im pretty sure Blackarachnia's not as raspy.
i love her so much !! i wish more underrated disney women like kida or esmeralda got more love :/
Atlantis The Lost Empire is one of the most underrated movies that Disney doesn’t give much attention🥺 This could’ve been Disney’s prominent original animated sci-fi franchise to be in like the top 5 best sci-fi franchises of all time if Disney gave it more recognition than just instantly forget about it entirely after it became a box office bomb. Even with those underrated movies bombing, they should look upon the movie’s cult following that loved it, got a lot of recognition and got a huge fandom years after its release. This movie is an example of trying something new that will make company move to a new direction, even Walt Disney said “Try new things. Don’t make the same thing twice.” which the higher ups of the company still to this day do not understand, and continue to dodge it since they’re afraid to try new things thinking they will fail. :(
Anyway, nice video of our favorite Disney Princess, Kida! :D ^^💖
She’s such an underrated character!
She needs more love💞
"A thousand years ago, the streets were lit😔🔥"
I feel that Kida 🫂
I've never seen this movie but-
She's beautiful
Thats it
I honestly love this movie! It needs more love
She is so pretty 🙏 also the short fighting scene was so good, i just love her 😭
I really hope she becomes a Guardian in Disney Mirrorverse.
0:19 I sure wonder what Mole said to Kida that would make her punch him.
My best guess is something inappropriate to say to a lady.
It is, actually! He starts by saying "Voulez-Vous" which can imply he was saying a common phrase. "Voulez-Vous coucher avec moi?" In English, it means roughly: "Would you like to sleep with me?" A very sneaky thing to throw in movies because not everyone speaks French. The more you know!
She is the 1st Disney Queen, not Elsa.
Yes
They really thought they could get away with that
Based
This movie is amazing and highly underrated!! I love Kida !
the fact she’s got a built-in swimsuit.
Kida 💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️
Oh yea the childhood times where my sexuality was already questioned 🌼, the whole movie is adorable and I dont understand how can they underrated it so much
I think she’s the only Disney girl that was ever in a bikini
I love her😍💙
i'm māori, so her culture felt really similar to how our indigenous ancestors lived back in the day. even some of the swirls in the carved stone seemed reminiscent of our culture. i loved this movie as a kid, princess kida was my icon
There's no shot a linguist like Milo would struggle to pronounce her name. Then again, getting Michael J Fox to pronounce anything non-American is a lost cause.
Kida is almost like Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Rebels, the Mandalorian, and her upcoming Ahsoka show! Both are strong, skillful, intelligent, hilarious, and compassionate characters who are not perfect!
Okay...
Yes! Omg 😱 I’ve always found them similar!
Also like Sasha Calle
I prefer Kida after original Clone Wars and Rebels, the live action one just feels like a different character
Milo and Kida are in my top 5 favorite Disney couples! 🥹❤️🔥💘
"Cookies are sweet, but yours is not;
Sweets is kindly, but that is not his name;
Audrey is sweet, but she is not your doctor"
Now i get it lol
I love that movie❤️❤️❤️
The fact Disney glazed over the idea of Kida being the first Disney Queen is criminal.
Ironically you'd think for Disney pushing Inclusivity, they'd mark up Kida alot being the first Queen, and not Elsa.
She helped my realize my bi awakening
She also might be the only Disney princess to canonically become queen!
Elsa?
Try that again..
The difference is that Elsa sucks and Kida is actually cool.
@@justjoe4390literally what did Elsa do to yall 💀
i really should watch this
Kida was the first black princess to me
Is she really black though? You do realize that Southeast Asians, Papua New Guineans, Australian aborigines, and indigenous South Americans can have dark skin too, right?
@@justjoe4390maybe they mean skintone
I’m in the Atlantis fan sometimes
I love to see Lego make a Princess Kida Lego minifigure.
I’m surprised Kida wasn’t included with the other princess characters from Ralph Breaks the Internet! 😅😭
Yeah!
Peak movie
im a simp for milo ❤
I've never watched this film and I was existanced in before the 90s...😢
Best Disney princess! Her father played by the one and only Legendary Leonard Nimoy. The cast is Amazing! MJ Fox, Don Novello, Phil Morris, Florence Stanley, James Garner, Claudia Christrian... the list is long.
Some part of me thinks people today would call this a "woke" movie because of Kida, but then again some people have always been adverse to things they can't accept as truth. Kida is a warrior, a priestess and a leader, and not just because she is a princess, she's basically the closest thing to a female Jedi in an animated Disney film.
And when your film opens with a nuclear explosion and ends with giant colossi of stone generating a forcefield to protect the city (as facilitated by Kida) it's hard to say there aren't epic scenes in this film that simply make your jaw drop.
Woke has lost all meaning. Kida being black coded would make them call it woke off the bat.
How the f is Kida black coded? You do realize that Southeast Asians, Papua New Guineans, and indigenous South Americans have dark skin too, right? Are you claiming that the only dark-skinned people in the world are black Africans? Kida's culture is more similar to Polynesian cultures, anyway.
@@justjoe4390 Respectfully, let's turn down the tone a bit, friend. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with people who have dark skin. We're a single species, and I see the world through that lens. At some point we all had dark skin when we first became the genus Homo. So it's important I set that straight now.
Yes, at one point in time "woke" specifically referred to race issues as seen and observed in and by the Black community, if we look at the historical references. But as the previous poster said, it has moved beyond that application alone, and now refers to anything related to what is viewed by some as extreme feminism, LGBTQ, income inequality, corporate greed warriors, and on and on.
There are elements of Polynesia culture in Atlantis. But there are also Cambodian elements (some of the architecture, similar to Angkor Wat), Egyptian elements, Greek influences, African, and Native Americans (compare King Kashekim's nasal structure to that of Algonquins and Lakota Sioux). The whole point of rendering them this way was to pay homage to the sources they drew from to come up with the story, namely Plato, the Egyptians, Ignatius Donnelly, Edgar Cayce, Schock, Hancock, Pal and others. And those sources say that Atlantis (assuming it existed) had people from all over the world living on the island, some with original Atlantean blood, who carried those traditions away with them when the continent sank. We should expect then, that the Atlanteans in this movie are an indiscernable ethnicity.
The reason Kida would probably be called "woke" is because of the views of some who insist that all Disney hero-princesses have to be White Europeans, and that just the fact that Kida is portrayed as one of the best warriors and heroes is still, regrettably, reflective of sexism. This movie came out the same year the series "Alias" premiered on television, and even though female action heroes started emerging in "Aliens" and 1992's "The Point of No Return," there were still issues accepting the fact that it was possible for a female character to consistently beat men to a pulp. While it's much better in 2024, the pay inequalities, advancement opportunities in careers, and remnant sexism is still prevalent enough to provoke people with careless tongues to call this movie "woke."
this woman was literally my gay awakening i'd only watch the movie when i fast forwarded it to the scene where she first appears oh my god-
I had forgotten how many she-hulks were in this movie. Nostalgia blinds.
Huh? Explain
Why Disney do this character so wrong? Totally keep her out of the line up with the other princess, may she'll go through what Betty Rubble did as Hanna Barbera underrate her now including her as a vitamin after all these years 😂😂 but seriously Kida is being treated that same way.
Everybody who thinks part 1 was way better that 2 like this comment
