Lovely video and very informative. I actually saw a reed bunting for the first time yesterday and didn’t have a clue what it was, so looked it up in my RSPB book then double checked here. He was a gorgeous little chap with real floofy feathers. Like a pompom with a long tail ❤️
Brilliant use of perches you would never believe they were provided and placed in exactly the right spot. I was very lucky this week while filming the Reed Warbler to have a reed bunting present itself a lovely bird. I agree there is nothing like photographing in your own back yard in my case two miles from my front door. Thanks again, next year I will try some of my own perches .
We had one in our old garden 3 years ago, just a tiny 20’ x 8’ plot so I was surprised to see it. Really with you about our own UK species, much more interesting to see what’s around us.
I'm across the Atlantic from you, but I really enjoy your videos. I've been a photographer a long time, but set it aside for about 20 years, returning to it six years ago. I shoot nature almost exclusively, and I really appreciate both the technical tips and the ingeniuty you demonstrate in getting your photographs. Thank you sincerely for sharing your videos. They are excellent!
I am learning so much. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with so many practical tips.
Great video Mike and sound information on props and perches
