how did you determine where the lingual cusp tips go? those are the ones that sit in the mandibular first molar..distal in the distal part of the Central groove of the mandibular first and the mesial lingual cusp tip in the mesial part of the central groove
Dear Ashely, I am not sure if I understand your question correctly or not. If I do, it depends on the occlusal scheme of your model. For example, I use the ideal class I occlusion (cusp to fossa). I build the lingual cusp according to the scheme. My suggestion is that you check the occlusal scheme that you are studying or are assigned for this practice and build the cusp following it ;)
Your question is good. In class one occlusion no maxillary cusp occludes with mandibular mesial fossa. The mesiolingual cusp of Maxillary first molar occludes with central fossa and distolingual cusp with distal fossa of mandibular first molar respectively.
I took this Gnatholological waxing course way in the early 90s under Dr. Harry C. Lundeen in Florida at that time i was one of the few dental lab technologist on the northeast who was doing gnathological waxing.
hello..so for waxing the maxillary posterior teeth then the buccal cusps should be placed more buccal compared to the lingual surface...did you again just look at the cusp tip of the canine and draw an imaginary line to the maxillary second molar?
For the location of the buccal cusps of posterior maxillary teeth, yes I look at the cusp tip of the canine and draw an imaginary line to the buccal cusp tip of the maxillary second molar. However, it's pretty hard to locate the location of the lingual cusps of the maxillary posterior teeth. Because they are functional cusps, I put them in the middle of the lingual half of the tooth. Usually 2-3 mm from the outer surface.
To be honest, I do not really use it. I use PKT no.4 (two side blade) for all of the carving steps. In the video, I just show the possible ways if anyone wants to use PKT no.3 and 5. :D
Thanks but no cigar! Sorry to say that you have failed to demonstrate your knowledge of dental anatomy. Or better yet, you need to go back and look at your anatomy book. I give you one example only. Maxillary premolars in nature are extremely different. Yet you made them similar. No more comments. Figure the rest yourself.
Geile Nummer ! Vernünftig gemacht , kein Metzger oder Freestyle .. Daumen hoch ! Immer drauf achten … der Artikulator bleibt Gipsfrei !
This is what the assistants expect even though it’s the first time you’re melting wax on fire 😭
Very nice , do you have any videos for anterior teeth please?
What kind of wax do you use?
What solution was applied with the cotton swab? Was this used to clean the surface or does it also smooth/polish it?
I have the same question :(
In his mandibular molars video, he applied diluted liquid soap to polish it. I think he also used the same method in this video.
I have the same question!
Degreaser probably

Hello, what is the function of nail varnish, and what solution was applied?
nail vernish is applied so that the buccal cones and the other structures can be stabilized
Why did you cover it with nail varnish???
What liquid do you used with the cotton buds? It looks very shiny and nice after the swapping
He used diluted liquid soap for polishing in his previous video. Maybe same method?
@@lunarlunatic504 I believe yes. Warm diluted soup
what end fo the PKT 5 are you using? the flat sharp one or the one that is slightly curved in the middle? Thanks

I did it for the first time thank u
Que marca se cera es please
Why is all this done? Just for academic or...what?
What kind of pen he uses to draw?
I think he was using a Pentel techniclick pencil.
Great job man
What solution was applied? Thanks
After drawing with the pencil he applied the top coat nail polish to preserve the lines during working
@@Ayoubauz Thank you, but I was wondering about the liquid that he applies with the cotton ball between each step of the waxing.

my brother in christ it’s for practice after this step you practice on crowns and bridges. Bridges are not identical to actual teeth….
