I just wanted to pop in here and mention how much Frank and I enjoyed having Jason and Nikki on board Ticket to Ride. They really are very fun people and kind as well. It was a pleasure getting to know them and share their enthusiasm for sailing and learning. In addition, I am very impressed with the kindness of the viewers of Gone With The Wynns.... Frank and I appreciate your amiable comments and accepting attitudes. We do try to respect the residents of the countries we visit and give back whenever possible. We have been greatly blessed and are forever thankful that through hard work and God's gifts, we can travel and see so many unique and beautiful places. Wishing each of you a blessed Holiday as well as good health and fun adventures. MaryGrace
How wonderful to hear first hand what the Wynns are really like. We suspected they were awesome individuals but this just confirms it. Thank you again Mary-Grace for allowing us to tag along. Much love from all us Wynns-obsessed viewers
So well stated and I can personally say I am very happy for you two, as you are leading the life that so many of us hope to attain. I am early in the sailing lessons, but after some time on big cats, I know where I have my sights set. I may not spend quite what I assume you did for this perfect boat (in my opinion), but it'll be something similar and maybe slightly smaller. I am looking forward to seeing the Wynns 44 and seeing how that performs. I cannot show my wife your boat or I'll be working forever to get that galley! Thanks for opening your home up to everyone who watches these two! Be safe, have fun.
💛 Thank you Frank & Mary-Grace for inviting Jason & Nikki into your home and allowing them to share it with all of us! TTR is beautiful & it was a delight to meet the two of you! N & J thank you, as always, for sharing with all of us!!
Thank you Frank and Mary Grace for letting all of us share your beautiful home, TTR, for a couple of weeks. Fair winds and following seas on your journey!
I spent 14yrs in the Navy, 9yrs at sea, 2 destroyers 1 carrier. That's a smooth ride at 11knots and the plates aren't sliding around. I'm now a fan of HH cats ❤❤
I must say the places you guys go are awesome, the boats are a dream, but the friends you make that share your passion are what this life is all about. Thank you Frank and Mary Grace!!
The music choice at 4:19 is absolutely killer, it's gotten me motivated and I'm not even on that catamaran! Garlic butter isn't something you'd think belong on French fries but in French Polynesia, anything goes! And love how even when you were getting on your bike, you could STILL hear that rooster in the background at 23:19! The rooster has that "GET OFF MY LAWN" old man energy 😂Reminds me of the free-roaming Key West roosters, who are descendants of those bred in Cuba for fighting.
24:42 You don't typically think of this when you think of a lighthouse, but for somewhere as remote as Fakarava, you work with what you've got! Built from giant slabs of coral limestone rock. According to Guinness World Records, the world's tallest lighthouse is the Jeddah Light at 431 feet/131.4 m tall in Saudi Arabia which opened in 1990 and is both an active lighthouse AND an observation tower! Though the tallest traditional lighthouse is the granite Île Vierge Lighthouse in Finistère (western Brittany), France at 271 ft/82.5 m tall.
21:18 Nurse sharks aren't actually found in French Polynesia. They're found mostly around the Caribbean, Pacific coast of Central America, and West Africa. Those are the grey reef sharks Nikki was talking about who are native to the Indo-Pacific. In Tahitian, they call them raira. Blacktip reef sharks on the other hand are called ma’o mauri, and Tahitian legend says they warn people of personal danger by insistently approaching, and often ramming into them.
Frank and Mary Grace are just absolutely wonderful people just like you too. It is so good to see two couples that love sailing like you to do can’t wait to see your new ventures and how much longer am I going to be happy to wait to see your new boat it’s killing me I cannot wait
The world needs more people like Frank and Mary Grace!!! I've watched this video so many times... I'll watch it some more I'm sure. Much love everybody!!!
Mary Grace, Frank..... much appreciated from this old Ohio man.... Was stationed on Guam, Hawaii and Rota Spain on the Mediterranean...... you brought back many memories
Sailing is more about the adventure, experience and relationships. The winds will take you places but it is on their schedule which you have to abide by as a sailor. Love the boat. Frank and Mary Grace have such a passion to cruise. Thank you Wynns for a great trip around the world in paradise. Blessings!
☕ ☕ After rewatching this video. What is that coffee grinder setup with the drill? Can you make a fine grind for espresso? I'm a coffee snob too. (Make a video on coffee hacks while sailing around the world; where & what you buy, and how you make it). I need that setup for anywhere traveling with a drill! ☕ ☕
The good vibes are palpable on this one guys! Loved the camaraderie and ease between couples, very relaxing, definitely felt your reluctance to leave, lol. Personally, I don't think I've seen you guys (Nikki or Jason) this happy or relaxed on a boat since you started sailing on this channel. Thank you Frank and Mary Grace for allowing Jason and Nikki to bring us along for the ride! Excellent adventures here (on GotW & TtR)...thanks for sharing! Cheers to the sun-downers and "sun-risers", lol! May fair winds be with you all! 🌬⛵
Mary Grace and Frank thank you so much for letting us aboard TTR so good to be able to see first had the differance between a performance and cruising Cat and what it actually means day to day sailing and NM you can get under your belt .
I can't imagine how excited you are for Curiosity 2 after spending a few weeks with TTR. Beautiful place and you capture it so beautifully, you have made my bucket list of places to see longer.
Watched this again, Frank and MaryGrace what a wonderful boat. Thank you all 4 of you for sharing this adventure this was a down wind sail I wish I was on.!!!
I wanted to share a useful tip with your decision to get an induction stove on your new vessel. We have owned an induction stove for a few years now and bought a roll of oven liner. It's a black, thin sheet that is heat proof. We cut out circles the size of the bottom of our set of pans. We place one under a pan when cooking to prevent getting scratches on the glass top. Our cook top looks like it's still brand new. ❤️ Happy sailing!
I thought Fakarava would be a great place for a special underwater lab. They had one on the coast of Florida, it was a place where you could dive and get into a type of scientific apartment underwater which had everything you need to stay under for a week at a time. You can go out and explore and come right back in, no need to worry about your blood levels. It also had great windows and night lights at 1100 ft below ! I think they call it Aquarius but off shore Florida doesn't have the marine life Fakarava has , not even close. Love the name, Ticket to Ride ! Thanks for letting us see your boat ! 32:43 great sunset shot, absolutely beautiful.
How wonderful. I remember my Frank's and Mary Grace's and the fantastic voyages we shared long ago. So envious. I watch and thank my lucky stars, I got to have the opportunities I had. I can feel the motions of every wave, the feel of the sail the beautiful blue clear waters as I watch your videos. Enjoy and savor every moment as it will only be the same again in your memories.
That final sunset was beyond amazing. It was a fitting end to the video and a closing moment for this chapter of your adventures. It was fun to watch all the interactions between all 4 of you and I can’t imagine what it would be like to have friends like Frank and Mary-Grace. Take care and have a HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all of you.
What a wonderful boat, place, hosting couple and all. You definitely should find room for those full space bicycles, and - now you got the newer HH44 with full hybrid suit and lots of battery power - make those some high quality e-bikes as well, so you can actually go on some longer tours, maybe even in the mountains at your next destinations. God Bless!
I'm sitting at home with Covid (for the first time!) feeling like garbage. Thanks for helping me get away to paradise for half an hour. French Polynesia and the Tuamotus in particular are possibly the most amazing places on the planet. It truly captures the imagination.
As usual another Great vlog. All I really have to say is that Golden sunset at the end literally made me softly gasp and whisper to myself "Oh My God", it was breathtakingly beautiful.
Your adventures with Frank and Mary Grace have been so lovely to watch, while you also learn your new to be boat similarities. What loving people you have been blessed with. Don't cry Niki and Jason.
Thanks Mary Grace and Frank and Nikki and Jason. I Love the Island scene and those burgers looked way delectable. Thanks for the great scuba footage. Love all the fish and coral colors. 👍
I've been a coffee snob for 45 years, at least. Since I learned how to make cold brew syrup, I always have fresh coffee, no matter where I am, because I carry the syrup in a stainless steel can. All I need is hot water. I can even carry it in my motorcycle saddle bags. If I need a caffeine hit, I can drink a shot of it; instant ping!

Thank you Frank and Mary-Grace to have allowed us all onboard. You are simply amazing! And TTR is a dreamboat!
My thanks as well! 💙⛵️

It was a stunning end to an incredible journey!

What kind of danger does a blacktip reef shark warn of?
Thank you Frank and Mary Grace for letting all of us share your home and adventures your welcoming spirit is contagious and that needs to spread.

When we visited in 2017 aboard Windstar's Wind Spirit, we could not read the inscription on that monument/lighthouse either.
That was just amazing! Thank you Nikki and Jason and Frank and Mary-Grace for allowing us to join the fun!
