Oh this ladys knee issues provides a lot of insight to some of my own knee pain! I was born with a slight skeletal defect in my right leg that caused the bone to twist a tiny bit. It has caused my foot to point out in a odd way and it has an effect on my gait. I have a hard time maintaining a exercise routine because if I walk more than 3 miles a day (that's less than the daily recommended amount of steps btw) I end up with pain, swelling, clicking and stiffness in my knee. I've been to a handful of doctors looking for solutions. Most of them say lose weight. I'm like, duh, but I can't do that on diet alone and since exercise is hindered by how painful my knee down ends up feeling... But my own chiropractor has been a good bit of help. Firstly they helped get rid of my near constant headache, and secondly I can now do an (bad) assisted squat instead of just kinda getting stuck in the position because my knee locked up. Still have a long way to go though.
My friend needs this, he can’t squat no matter what we’ve tried and know about how to solve it. I’ve been telling him a good chiro sesh might be his way to a healthy relationship with squats lol
I'm having the same problem w squat. so my back muscles r dormant hence leaning forward as I do. and I have the band. awesome. thank u for the tip even though I would really love to have the knees adjusted....
