The difference between th3 aculk and flesh isbthat the flesh just kills everything but the sculk is actually intelligent and focuses its mass on certain points wich lets it do stuff like summon as many allies at a place thats attacked
yeah. the one problem with the flesh is that it's the embodiment of 'why need smart when strogn', while the skulk is intelligent enough to take on infections that are a hundred times stronger than itself WHILE being balanced.

Those mites are the only reason sculk has an upper hand against every infection other than the thing.

Technically, there's no way any infection mod can "beat" the horde, like, they can only supress it due to the player being the only one able to turn off the Ancient Node, while the sculk can actually shutdown any infection that uses an entity to infect the world. Plus, sculk seems to be the fastest spreading infection, thing that gives it immense adventage over anything, and the cherry on top, it can actually detect the origin of other infections as a raid-able target, letting the horde know what to exactly attack for it to easily win.
Imagine one day someone makes an infection mod that lets the player control it, it'd be cool.
i believe there is one, its purple and in newer game versions i think its called infectum
The aether was such a sick fighting background. This was one of the best infection battles

The suclk might be the most aggressive and best at spreading of all the infection mods
its my favorite infection mob, it builds upon the existing theme of skulk, is player-activated, and well-balanced. I'm surprised it was able to so effortlessly defeat FTH, but it kind of makes sense since the skulk is incredibly pervasive
My favorite so far has to be Fungal Infection for now.
It is smart, can build shield around Proto-Hivemind, has great coding and AI like Sculk, and the boss system. the downside of it is slower infection speed than Sculk. I feel like Fungal Infection is also nicely balanced.

the skulk is much more infective and the flesh can't heal it's incubators, that seems to be the reocurring theme.
I wish flesh was more accurate to the scp
The mod is *based* on it, just didn't completely copy it
I feel like it being different from it is a GOOD thing, it has its own identity rather than just copying the OG scp
The flesh only shares a name with the scp, other than that there’s no real similarities
It being different is a good thing imagine having to deal with that mod and the only way to kill them is fire as everything u throw at em is useless:/

The only reason why sculk won was because flesh mobs can be infected with sculk so when they continuesly spawn mass and mites and the process continues. Also the phantoms para dropping in enemy territory are also a reason

Main flaw of the flesh is the incubator, it has no redundancy to it.
It also doesn't upkeep its controlled zones
Main flaw for the skulk is that if its supply of mass gets cut, it's helpless
For another world and fungal, its gotta be fire, that can absolutely wipe out their infection zones
As for the Mi... i guess they lack sustainability and zone defence against infections

Can I make a suggestion for the infection Battle Royale?
First, make a big map with a quadrant for each infection (including Mi!). Give them an hour to grow and evolve. Then, after that hour, drop the wall and watch the chaos ensue.
Mi won't work, they aren't in the same version as FAW and the Sculk Horde/Flesh versions for the Mi version are very outdated.

One unfortunate Truth if the flesh blocks are weak to fire but some other major infection mods blocks arent. Skulk being such a mod
they kinda need this weakness, or else they would be unstoppable in survival

Its also unfortunate how flesh incubator is a mob meaning sculk can actually kill the incubator while Sculks Ancient node is a block thats underground giving flesh little to no way to attack the main brain
Also kinda a lame explanation when the other infections often don't have such glaring weaknesses. So idk man.
@@gabesisneros136 spore is weak to cold, like 60% of the infection mods are weak to fire. Both exist within minecraft, also sculk is weak to purity and flesh or other infections got no way to utulise purity so, id say its fair fight. Even in sculks favor since sculk is made to be only beatable by players

Note that the Horde doesn't actually gain mass by killing. It gains mass by inflicting mobs with Burrowed or Diseased Cysts, or from sculk bees. You'll even notice horde mobs ignoring any infected passive mobs.
So the strength of TFTH mobs actually works against them. One mob can be infected multiple times before dying, which causes more mass, and summons more sculk mobs to reinfect it. So the horde actually GAINS mass by defending itself.

I just saw a previous video of you in my recommendation and then I saw your most recent video and saw that one from 40 second ago x)
I appreciate you doing another big larger city, but my ultimate goal is get Greenville in the picture. That’s the ultimate realistic giant city, which would give the best results to see exactly what the infection would do in a realistic setting just because you do nothing but infection mods so far, which are amazing. I’m gonna learn how to mod and I’m gonna create a mod where it’s villagers that are hazmat and military villagers to fight back infection and they will build their own bases similar to infections based on resources and their own capability of finding and mining resources to build upon so in summary.
Villagers that act as if say their own form of infection, using ranged combat, weapons, structure, building mining resources, giving them in scenery, weapons hazmat suits to protect them against infection, explosives, and their own form of identification of infected blocks any block that is not considered within their list of blocks that are considered normal they will consider it infected and have the capability of mining burning and destroying all blocks that are not within the list of noninfected items. Absolutely nothing about Minecraft mod Ing, but I have an obsessive behavior to create things and I am a stay at home dad. So it might take me a little bit because I still have no experience in modeling or mod creation, but point me in the right direction people I want this shit to be made plus on top of that I won’t be able to do the art so I will eventually need somebody else to do the animations and art, I just wanna be able to create the actual software part and figure out how to create those mechanics and the stretch goal is definitely going to be to contact all the infection mod creators and ask them if there’s a plug-in that’ll allow all of their creatures and my creatures specifically fight each other, allowing the villager resistance mod to be universal to all the major infection mods, specifically the most up-to-date mods the ones that primarily show on this RUclips channel. I know this is a big statement and it’s a random person but if I’m successful, it’s gonna be so much fun.
I hope that you will be able to make this a reality. it sounds like it could be really fun.

How about having each infection spawn each in an edge/corner, and have them slowly approach the center until they face each other. It may be difficult to find a map for this tho'.
Wither got an update recently and it has a rage mode making it able to deal with some of the infections fir a bit, not incredibly strong but certainly got somewhere

Makes sense that sculk dominates, really. Sculk is said to be the remaining conscientious of a betrayed god, I think. Flesh is just a garden variety alien invader.

The skulk will never win, once they hit the phase where they summon a flesh community the community wont die, the skulk doesnt have the power to kill it

I'm just wondering; how does the "Lure" effect work exactly? I just want to know for next time I play with the mod.
I’m not sure of the details, but the lure effect basically makes the sculk be able to investigate the places you go (basically as the name suggests lures the sculk horde towards you. The infection will follow you where you go until the effect disappears)

Oh, and by the way, if you wanted to be able to run all four of these mods altogether without as much damage going onto your PC I suggest paying a provider to create a server and run all these mods once you can figure them all correctly on that server and let their computers do the computing and processing. You just have to pay upfront for some of the price, what you will create in content will be something that will be astronomically. Amazing you will see that video do extremely well, but yeah, there’s plenty of providers that offer their own private servers that can take the blunt of the mods pressure that way all you have to do is technically log on and then just play, just think this way you’ll technically have a super computer at your hand and disposal to be able to generate all the stuff that’s needed to make it a real life crazy Matt plus if it’s a server, you could always be like for a temporary time have it set up or people can jump in and play on that server for your Patreon supporters

@@KaratFengMinecraft As a matter of fact, GOH is much more than that. It is the immune system of the flesh.
CAUSE: when the incubator feels threatened. This can happen either from direct attack on him within a certain range or fire on its territory.
HOW: the incubator emits red particles for a few seconds, then unleaches GOH unless it dies first (like in your first flesh video with the iron golem).
CONSEQUENCES: I noticed 3 notable effects so far: 1) the motion sickness on player and mobs (mobs will stop attacking and start to walk randomly) 2) the incubator spwans reinforcements that will usually kill the intruders that caused GOH 3) The fire on the incubator's territory dissapears.
I noticed this while reproducing your flesh pyramid experience. At epikulmination phase, I unleashed Ignis inside the pyramid. As their were 7 incubators, I had GOH every minut (needed to spam "/effect clear") and every time Ignis set fire, it was estiguished by a GOH. At the end of the day, the flesh units pushed Ignis out of the pyramid, and he fell in the contaminated ocean, far from the flesh. I then spawned a wither storm WITHOUT regeneration effect in the heart of the pyramid, and same effect: the fire was stopped every time! And very surprisingly, the wither storm got killed at the very begining of stage 4.
Phayriosis Parasite Infection is a decent mod as well. The details are ... well basic but the mechanics are quite interesting. Flesh absolutly conters it but it fights decently against spore. Not sure about sculk though.
Wither is quite good as well right now :D

ive tested this myself before, the flesh only lost when i let the skulk infect the flesh blocks, otherwise the skulk literally just gets farmed

6:42 the fact that the sculk infected the dungeon means that you actually went ahead and killed the Valkyrie Queen because otherwise those blocks are unbreakable like bedrock

@@KaratFengMinecraft yeah, but I remember that last time you tried to infect the Aether with something (I think it was the sculk) you got confused on why the dungeon blocks weren't getting converted.
