great explanation bro, designing a piston is a very complicated task and modern pistons are designed in such a way that it not only reduces friction but also improves efficiency. it is shaped like an oval near the main and minor thrust side with a tapper angle near the piston skirt with a barrel shape, Porsche recently had made a 3d printed piston, and its awesome, which has an oil gallery inside the piston colling the piston more efficiently and giving extra power
Pleased to meet you sir, The reason behind this comment is to heartfully thanking you for your wonderful videos with beautiful explaining tweeks, Only because of some particular videos on your youtube channel i did Successfully Cleared my Machine Design 2 Subject Hope this channel serves much more students to a better success Thanking your sir, your lovable student.
good explanation bro but answer for this question is already available in machine design textbook by r.s.kurmi please don't solve only example problems from text book but also solve exercise problems for our better understand 🙏 please use design data book for poor students like me
Yes, Calculated the major parameters, remaining calculations you can follow by proportions from the data hand book.. Please do Subscribe if this video made you helpful..!!
Thank you 🙏
My pleasure 🥰

I m really Happy about Your words... Thanking you..All the best
Hello , sir ,, one mistake is there..
Area of the piston cylinder is ÷4 .not ÷2 , so 7855 area answer..
wow, it looks like this you were designing piston for diesel truck engines, awesome video bro
Thank You Bro..🙏
Sir there is two big mistakes,
The area of the piston cylinder is π÷4, not π÷2. And how did you find the value of 'Pm' from "IP" is 0.75
Pm given in the question broooo
Nice explanation sir
Thank you so much
Excuse me can you tell me how can I design piston for 90HP and 3000 Rpm 4 cylinder
I will let you know, permit me for some time
Where is continuous part sir?
good explanation bro
but answer for this question is already available in machine design textbook by r.s.kurmi
please don't solve only example problems from text book but also solve exercise problems for our better understand 🙏
please use design data book for poor students like me
Thank you, definitely I will do it
Where is the continuation?????
Thank u lot sir , stay blessed
Thanks a lot for your wishes.
Full problem not solved in this video
Sir , Please upload it's next part also
Okay
Super bro
Thank you for your support
Iska part 2 video Kahan hai..
I think this is only half part of the problem

@@MaheshGadwantikar And at 11:45 Area formula is written wrong. Divided by 4 and it was written as 2 and i just referred in TB
The formulas can be seen in a design data hand book ??
Yes you can
Iska next video kha hai
Sir need piston pin explaination
Only dia and length you should calculate by using empirical formula
Area should be pi/4 D Square but u written pi/2 d sqaure
Gem 💎
Sir y did u take mass off fuel as 0.5kg/Bp/hr
After calculation H is not 860 watt pls clear this
Give me some time, I will clear your doubts.
Not understanding why L is taken in metre all in mm
Indicated Power= Pm*l*A*n/ 60 watt, where A in mm^2, pie*D^2/4, l in metre, n-number of working stroke per min
Part 2 ?
Pls...adding more problems in ic engine.
Sure, Last night I uploaded for Connecting rod. You can go through it. Subscribe the channel u will get notifications for uploaded videos
What about other parts of piston
You have make calculations of other parts like piston rings, skirt, Piston pin diameter etc
tq sir
How to calculate total length of the piston?
L= Thickness of the head+ Length of the ring section + Length of the Skirt.
Could u explain the unit 5 (carburetor problems) from design of ic engines
I will try...!!
@@MaheshGadwantikar could u tell me the design of ic engine book for refer ence ( unit 5)
Bhandari or R.S.Khurmi
Ur problem are not correct
Anni half half
It is half solution
Formula are not right completely wrong sir see the textbook and write the formula in textbook name are bhagwan authors sir
