I spent years trying to tame my coily areas on my beard. My wife started braiding my beard with a butterfly clip and it has done wonders to keep my beard straight.
Thank you for the video bro. You are so right. Patience is very important in life. I try to be patient in life. Growing a beard, and being impatient doesn't work. I cut my beard several times being impatient. Since coming into your videos, I have seen fantastic gains in my beard. Using different moisturizing techniques. Thank you X!!!!!
X, thanks for what you do bruh. Man I’ve started having mad issues with the breakage. Contributed it to the blow drying to get the length. So I’ve laid low on that and washing and conditioning. But it feels as if the scotch porter products I’m using are just laying on the hair and not penetrating because it’s still coarse. Any suggestions. I see your line of products as well. Maybe it’s the genetics that are not gonna ever allow this beard to be soft. 🤣
Thank for always explaining and encouraging us on this Journey. In frustration of having so many split ends i cut my beard down to just barely comb length. Immediately hated this choice. Now that i've started this journey over, how often should i trim and/or shape my beard up?
Thanks fam I appreciate you! Trimming really depends on how long you want your beard to grow also how healthy it is and how fast it grows. I trim 1-2x per month usually I take very little off! Hope this helped much success on your journey 👊🏾
Gratitude, Brotha! I definitely have a coily beard. Breakage is my issue, but I'm working on getting it under control. I use Classic beard oil n butter. Will be offering a bigger size of the oil in the future?
I'm white, but I have this issue. My beard is literally black, though. When I thought coiley, I wasn't thinking like a spring, but kind of the opposite, where it coils vertically rather than horizontally. Mine does that. It grows about an inch out then starts coiling back in circles. For reference, it starts to turn into circles that resemble the powdered wigs aristocratic British people wore hundreds of years ago, except a good bit tighter. My hair texture looks like those wigs, but my beard is tighter. The end result is I always end up keeping my beard trimmed within an inch. An iron to straighten it damages the hair and really is too close to my face. I've been looking for a more natural way to grow it out We're all human, and hair texture is on a spectrum. There's a pretty good chance I can get better advice from a black person than a white person regarding beard hair.
Is it okay to deep condition before a wash because I have to wash my beard every day because of where I work and I dont want to have to wash get out of the shower deep condition and then get back in the shower to rinse out... Thanks X 👊
It won’t work as good maybes try washing your beard at the sink then deep condition and when it’s time to rinse out then get in the shower it might be an option
@@BeardedExistence Hey good info fam. I did deep condition today and was tryna to figure like Slip Bobber Willi what came first the chicken or the egg. I ended up doing the opposite but I guess it would work the same, I washed in the shower, deep conditioned and then rinsed in the sink.
Ive been ordering your products for over two months now and they work great. but my beard is so curly that the beard butter coils it more after a point but its soft... Thats weird , but also my beard is not as big as I once had it. So maybe its the size of my beard, but I can say that the classic grooming beard oil and classic grooming beard butter most definitely has been filling in my spots that I thought couldn't grow. Is there anything I can do about that coil and softness for a coily beard like mine?
Thanks for the support and feedback and for becoming a Classic man!! I am definitely glad your enjoying the products!. Much luv and success on your journey 👊🏾

That under beard is the worst part. In the morning it's cool but less than half an hour later it's already shrunk.
Yeah the struggle is real
