If you ask me, we all owe Walt Disney a huge debt of gratitude for what he has done for the world. He was the one who wanted music in the movies that he helped make. Without him, we would not have the amazing characters that we all know and love from our childhood. Well It's About Time that Once Upon A Time got a Musical episode, if there's any show that needs at least ONE Musical Episode that would be Once Upon A Time in my eyes. If a superhero show like The Flash got a Musical Episode than why not Once Upon A Time?
Makes sense for Once Upon A Time because animated Disney movies have almost always had music, which Walt Disney himself insisted on when they made the 1st fully animated movie.
I guess but I still wondered what had been like had they used appropriate songs in SOME of the flash backs ONLY....Sometimes. Just to honor the roots even further? I guess??

I was so impressed with this episode and the music was so damn good and fun. Amazing lyric writing and it was just wrote a few weeks ago for this episode. Best Musical episode of any show (yes all) that has done a musical episode. This music truly felt like a disney movie, broadway musical, or movie musical. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!

I for one am obsessed with how perfect this whole thing is! All the songs I've heard so far match the characters perfectly! I don't love regina's song but I do think the music fits her. This song and hooks song are basically magic! I'm a captain swan shipper so its kind of a big episode for me anyway haha!

I love how in character the song is for both of them and the story of their romance! I also enjoyed hooks song and thought it accurately reflected the character as well. Not crazy about regina's but not every song in a musical is going to be a success so its ok.
