You've put the puddle lights the wrong way around, they are left and right and the TESLA should be readable when your sat in the car/getting out of the car. I bought the 3W mats with the carpet inserts a few years ago when I bought my M3P and apart from a slight bit of wear on the drivers size, the rest still look like new. My car mats never get that dirty though lol

Keep it rubber for the winter months and then you can just jet wash them as you mentioned? Just a thought. Liked the puddle lights btw
Hi Jim, got any thoughts on 3/Y HUD options? Also, was there a drivers side matt? Didn’t see it in the film. The standard Tesla ones are rubbish with the flappy footrest bit that always gets folded over.
Yes, got mats for everything but just didn't film all of it. There are loads of options on their website including frunk mats, seat back covers etc. A friend of mine has this evbase.biz/3BwSaJV in his Model Y, ity looks great and works well but the fitting of it requires a bit of bravery. I don't have one and don't feel like I'm missing out.
Trying to have decent carpets, that look clean is one of my important things.... We have a Citroen E-C4 and decent mats are very hard to find... We are on our 3rd set of mats and they are basically crap quality and hardly last one year....

Mats look great. Itll be interesting to know how they get on after about a month or so but they good really good quality mats campared those ugly Tesla mats
Had my original model 3 mats for 4 years now. Clean my car every 2 weeks. Always used Autoglymn interior shampoo for the mats, seats and everything else in the interior and car still looks like it does day I got it. These plastic mats look cheap and will always look grubby over time. Looking after your car every week or 2 weeks is all you need to do if you want it looking perfect 🤷🏻♂️
I've got a busy life I'm afraid mate; even if I did have the time I'm not going to spend a couple of hours preening my car every 2 weeks in fairness. I'd rather spend time with the kids or socialise.

They go in either way so you can do it to your preference - if you change your mind at any stage it’s a 20 second fix - mine are staying put 👍

You can install them either way around; that's the way I chose, so yes.
