      Without servebots
Pancho Gonzalez, Sampras, Ivanisevic, Roddick, Krygios
My only objection with Krygios being when he has made it to the biggest pressure moments (USO QF, Wimbledon F) his serve hasn't fully delivered, and that's where I would consider a swap with say Becker or Federer (2009 W final with Roddick where the serve won him the final and the slam)
Other great servers of the past that no one remembers now: Krajicek Wimbledon 1996), Michael Stitch, Roscoe Tanner.

Very early on in Sampras’ career and just beginning to get recognized as a phenom, I remember him stating in an interview that he believed he has to get to the net to win Wimbledon, apparently an ultimate objective at the time. I believe that this was a key idea in his mind that made his serve the weapon that it was, his weight and momentum were perfectly synchronized in the serve so he can win at the net.

He is the best server of all times especially that second serve which is also his 1st serve

What’s debatable is his first serve. One of the best. What is not debatable is his second serve. His second was hands down the greatest of all time.

Number one in my opinion... I'd rather have no one on the line than pistol Pete when the title is on the line!

I miss the serve & volley era, Sampras, Edberg, Becker, McEnroe, Rafter all former number one rushing to the net...

Why is Pete using a Head racquet in that 3rd image??? That blows my mind!

Agassi, Chang, and Courier all use Babolat in the senior tour matches I've seen so Sampras with Head isn't that crazy

He is #1 server not just top 5 😝 That second serve alone is basically another first serve… can’t say the same for guys like Fed, Roddick, Philippousis etc. 😅

His kick serve toss was not the same as the toss for his other serves. He rarely used his kick serve, preferring a traditional topspin serve.

You misses the biggest reason. He made big first serves when at the most important times….clutch city.
