Hi Jian, This season I’ve been more cautious with “differentials,” but when would you say it’s a good time to start using them? From which week would it really make sense to buy “differentials” to climb up in your mini-leagues? Who should be higher in the bench order - Konsa or Colwill? Who’s the best option between Chris Wood, Wissa, Evanilson, and Vardy to bring in? I was thinking of switching Jackson and Cunha to Isak and one of the 4 forwards mentioned (using 2 free transfers). What’s your take on it? And I also want Isak because I want to captain him, but this would be the only way to make it happen. - Thank you for giving us the opportunity to ask questions on every video.
Great insight on the Tavernier situation! Have had Semenyo as first bench throughout the week but have been wanting to get him in the 11 - and this only makes the dilemma tougher. Think it’s a shootout between Semenyo and JP for me. Have been leaning towards starting JP due to the penalties and his bonus-prospects - but Bournemouth have a slightly higher xG this week (at least by market odds) and I would still assume JP’s minutes to be slightly reduced. What’s your take on it? Lovely video as always, fantastic to see the growth lately!

Hi Jian Good one. Two things - Did you consider Pickford in your GK analysis (From GW19). That Everton defense with Branthwaith is actually pretty underrated. Also prepares for the double. Additionally we would all want Munoz from GW19, you really wanna double up on palace defense? I know you answered before, but after the analysis which of these 3 would you be benching - J.Pedro, Semenyo, Bowen? Bowen and Semenyo have more mins meaning they have more time to score a goal than Joao Pedro but JP is on pens lol

Good evening my friend! I like Henderson as a pick from gw21 onwards! My only issue is that I will probably have Eze and Munoz in for gw 18/19. Which means I will have a palace 3x up if I decide get Henderson aswell. Does this change your stance on Henderson, should I go elsewhere?

Hi Jian, top work and good luck this week - really liked the insight on Semenyo btw. On AM chip - something I think I haven't seen people talk about in favour of using the chip earlier like you planned is that if you use it after WC30 (or around then) you're going to probably want Haaland (and likely Salah and then it's Saka vs. Palmer but Chelsea's fixtures aren't as strong). With those 3 there will be a lot less funds to go around and therefore using it while he's not in your team is probably preferable? I like the Hendo pick, but I'm still leaning Allison. I think VVD box threat is being a bit overrated and TAA's position in the system just doesn't allow him to get FPL points as easily. There's a video by Above Average FPL on the bonus point system that I think you might find interesting on this. Long story short, Allison is better on the BPS than the other Liverpool defenders, which makes me think he might be the best option. But, I really like the Hendo pick and I'm more just worried about going without a Liverpool defender, especially when they'll have a DGW option too. Are you still planning no Haaland in 18 btw?

You make a good point about the BPS, it’s just the money you save on Henderson! Remember you don’t necessarily have to have a LFC defender. People called TAA essential from the start, and he was far from, even though he kept a bunch of clean sheets. No Haaland for 18 is still the plan.

Or, do I transfer out Garnacho for a two week punt with a view to then moving whoever that is to (a hopefully fully fit) Diogo Jota in GW18 for the Leicester fixture? Also, currently same starting defence as you (RAN, Hall, Gabriel), with Myk and Greaves. Do I upgrade Myk to Timber/TAA/VVD to cover Gabriel missing out again? And if so, to who? I'm wondering about double Arsenal defence (Gabriel + bring in Timber this week) or rotating 4.5s. Are you still as high on Timber given him covering at LB and load management with his injury?
My defense is hall, ait nouri, Gabriel with dalot and van den berg on the bench. I'm worried if Gabriel doesn't play bc I have horrible bench cover. Should I upgrade dalot to Trent and bench one of hall or ait nouri Incase Gabriel misses out?
I would go VVD if I had the choice, but it’s not the end of the world even if Gabriel doesn’t play. Dalot is fine, Utd are defensively decent at least. If you are to get VVD, make sure it doesn’t block optimal routes down the line.
I wouldn't touch Liverpool. TAA back from hamstring injury recently, lots of upcoming games, backline backup weak (Bradley, Tsimikas and Konaté out right now). If someone else gets injured or TAA is rested they have Quansah, Gomez, Van Dijk and Robertson. Wouldn't trust that. Also, Slots intro to the Premier League has been to easy. He's due for some honeymoon trouble soon. Wouldn't be surprised if they went to lose a few games in a row. With money taking into account and blockage of improved squad I don't think Liverpool defense is worth it right now. Would rather own double Arsenal defenders or Allison.

Tough call on Mykolenko, depends on your other transfer plans, but if you do I would get VVD.

Probably not as high on Timber for the injury risk, as you mentioned.
