this is a standard feature, so it doesn't need to be activated? Just picked up a 2017 C300 with premium 2 package, so not exactly sure what I have and don't have.
The car will initiate partial autonomous braking at that speed. The car will brake to a standstill for stationary traffic up to km/h. Unfortunately, we did not have enough room to test it at a high speed.
This is only good if you only one driving in the road...how about your Car at the back?it is so dangerous!im experiencing now that the car suddenly brake while the car was running..you have to make sure that you have big space..now I decided to off the brake assist...
Gerry Bestante This works in such a way that it applies just the right amount of braking force so that it isn't braking too hard far ahead of the obstacle (and risking someone rear ending you) or too close to the obstacle. If you brake hard from speed it also flashes the rear brake lights to warn drivers behind of quick braking and in certain models will flash the hazard lights quickly and repeatedly when standing still to catch the attention of a car approaching from behind.
Totally gonna attempt this at home
How about 2018 c300 4matic in Canada?
It's not like Im not trusting u but it could be better if u also insert a footage of the pedals later. Thanks

Hi, I'm an product expert in Italy. What material do you use as obstacle for self braking? Thanks I would show it to my customers
Thx
You don't need any material just get something that's large :)))
Hello. A soft object, like a box, covered with foil should do the trick.
Do these come to India?
Good Day Arnav. Specification varies per country. Please contact your local dealership to find out if your vehicle is equipped with the specification.
Rola Motors Mercedes-Benz ok thanks
Also is Google maps navigation possible?
Unfortunately not. We use a software called HERE for all our mapping requirements.
LOL @ 0:49 it has hit as you can see.
Good Day. The vehicle did not hit the obstacle.
LAME! WEAK! nobody drive that SLOW! do it like in real world, like going at 60mph/96kmh to see what happen.
