Thank you for your lectures on this book. It's really helped me with my psychology class as reading, my mind tends to wander. On Diabetes, we found out about a year ago my son was diagnosed with Type 1 and you are the only other person that I"ve heard who was relieved besides myself to hear the news. I was relieved that basically, he wasn't dying and that something could be done about his condition, thank God! He was losing weight, looking sickly and now thanks to insulin he is back at his normal weight and normal self.
It's such a helpless feeling when you know something is wrong with your child, and a weight lifted to know that it is treatable. Thank you for commenting Lisa, and let's hope for a cure soon!
