Xiaomi launched their next Bluetooth Speaker called the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 and here is the review of the same. This speaker is light weight, portable and on a full charge delivers up to 10 hours of non-stop entertainment. Is it worth for Rs. 1,799? find out.
Like the older Mi Bluetooth Speaker this new Basic 2 speaker also does an excellent job. There are two speakers inside and the sound output is pretty loud and the quality is really good, even at full volume.
Mi Bluetooth Speaker basic 2 got a new look with white and silver color combination that blends well and gives a royal look. It not only looks great but also sounds great. The button position as well as the ports position have been changed if you compare this with older Mi Bluetooth Speaker.
Battery life is pretty good, there is built in mic you can use it to make / receive calls and if need be you can also use a audio cable connected to the Aux in port.

Performance
The performance was as good as I experienced with the older Mi Bluetooth speaker. Now this Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2 is using Bluetooth 4.2 compared with Bluetooth 4.0 on the older one, this will help get a better battery life.

There is LED notification light. The power on / off button can be used to switch on / off this speaker and can also be used to pause / play. The volume buttons are just to change the volume, you cannot use those to control media.

Verdict
Another excellent portable Bluetooth speaker than you can buy and it does come for an attractive price tag of Rs. 1,799. These speakers are long lasting, I am still using the old Mi Bluetooth Speaker.
