Hey man this is awesome btw and I think Im gonna get this in motion, however, I didn't see anything in this video on how to exit a game and go back to main menu in the controller setup section of the vid. I built a bartop arcade with only buttons and joystick. I know in retropie there is a hotkey that allows for this, but on libreelec (my current setup on MXQ s805) I didn't find this, so I have to manually power off the device. Thanks for your immediate response my friend in the prior video comments. ;)
Emulation station deals with this, just same as for all other systems running emulation station like retropie. When you setup your controller you have a hot key, when you press the hot key and start it exits a game.

Both work in the menu and the game selection .. but as soon as I start a SNES game, for example .. !!! comes the message that the controllers are not set .. !! and none of the two controllers suddenly no longer works ... no button works .. and I do not come back to the main menu and have to restart the Android box ... after the restart both controllers work again .. but as soon as I play a game start comes the message again and nothing works ... furthermore i have no sound ... neither in the menu..nor in the game ... can you help me..please

Yeah the very first time you boot, it requires you to hold in the reset button, subsequent times you do not. Occasionally you don't need to on some device's.

Why they don't release these systems with CRT composite support already configured?? Most of these systems only work with HDMI output, so what's the point of all that "retro" thing if we can't hook it up to an old TV? I have the old MXQ S805 with ScottELEC and that's the only system that support plug and play CRT composite output.

So, how in the hell does one select the right file for the Amlogic SOC used in ones box if the file names are cryptic. That's totally glossed over in the video. Use the wrong one - brick your box. Even with the 3.7 release I see no image specifically named for S912 2 GB SOCs
@@MXQPROJECT So, which IMG file found within the main IMG file is the correct one for S912 2 GB boxes then? I don't see any files marked as that, just S905, etc. Only the Odroid images contain S912 stuff and those are for the Odroid SBCs.
Does it have kodi? Any idea what level the miniX86 performs? N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube? Gonna give it try as hardly use X86 except for kodi now and again 😊
No Kodi not included, just takes up space really. Some N64 and Dreamcast should work but expect a mediocre experience from these systems, unless of course you have a S922X device then it may run pretty well.

Just went to install it. Not hosting images but what they call launcher. No instructions. In their FAQ tell you to write image as per your video. Tried their dischord link never know how to use that. Really wanted to try it.
I'm Bit dumb. Downloads for previous releases hidden behind tiny assets link. Don't have to do ftp. Just browse and copy with file explorer. Ftp actually kept refusing my connection. Looks great!

I don't think their a internal install script developed for this yet, and honestly it best sticking to dual booting as internal installation can cause many unknown issues.

How do you know which .IMG is for your tv box? mine is a T95MAX allwinner H6 2GB RAM 16GB storage.

Push a paperclip in the audio jack and hold it down during boot. You can feel it. It's a secret button. It works. You only have to do it once

Dreamcast is a little beyond the capabilities of these devices, some games run but not many and those that do are glitchy.

I see ohter replies saying to use p281, there are only 2 for the 2gb model and neither seem to work

Need add your roms to the correct rom folders, for it to show up. This is shown in video.
