"The film follows a young girl who has just begun her journey as a surfer in the wild, icy Atlantic waters of Cape Town, South Africa. However, this is not just about her accomplishing her goals in surfing, it is also about her becoming a young woman, under the watchful eye of her mother. The mother-daughter relationship is made stronger by their shared love for the ocean, as they bond together out at sea."
