Coral island was one of our highlights from Phuket. My 8 year old daughter loved the snorkeling there.

Great video @Gopro Vids. Have you used a red filter for the gopro? also could you please tell me what were your Gopro settings? I am visiting Thailand in 2 weeks, I would really appreciate some info.
Keep making video! Thanks in advance.

Hi Fabian. I usually do post processing with Adobe Premiere Pro, though you can use any video editing software really. I have a red filter, but I dont use a red filter when i snorkel, only when Scuba diving. Because you are close to the surface a lot of the time when snorkelling, a red filter is too much correction. Settings are pretty much stock 1080p 60 frames per second. Dont use a slower frame rate than 60FPS as the amount of camera movement in the water starts to make the footage look shaky. Also, you can slow the footage down slightly to make some of the scenes look longer (fish move quickly sometimes!). Good luck and have a good trip!!
