Okay...I'm another old fuck here that has loved New Order for 30 years. Their music is brilliant both instrumental and lyrics. The music of the 70s and 80s is still as fresh and impactful as it was back in the day. Thanks to New Order for some amazing music.
At 72, I’m probably not in the main demographic for New Order fans, but I’ve loved them for decades now. As a wannabe guitarist, I appreciate how tricky their rhythms can be… deceptively simple chords in their hands turn into transcendent motifs. Thrilled that they continue to create their music!

I may miss Peter Hook and his legendary bass guitar (for he had already left New Order to form his own band, "Lights"), but I'm glad that Gilian came back (the one on keyboards, an original member). Overall, this version at that concert works, even without Hooky, baby...I still miss the Hook meister...
I had the privilege of seeing both New Order and Peter Hook & The Light pre & post Covid. The performances were exceptional especially with some crossovers of songs. Probably the last time I get to see them live. To the people who live in the northern hemisphere - do yourselves a favour 🙂
Absolutely love the different intro off the synth.However it was bugging me where I had heard something very similar. Simple Minds did it with Street Hassle off the Sparkle In The Rain album and Lou Reed did the original Street Hassle!
Great, great song. Our song (mine and the missus),our wedding dance song, "I've never met anyone quite like you before" and what a stinking version. I do miss Hooky from the line up, but they do almost compensate here. Wasn't Adele on the Pyramid Stage at the same time ? How could anybody be there when this was here ?
