I bought this sleeping pad a few months ago. However, I don't trust the advertised R value. I have used it in the low 30s, and I find the performance comparable to other sleeping pads of R value 3-4. Still very good in my opinion but that number seems "inflated". BTW, the 2 person compatibility is solved by putting your heads on opposite sides since it is a mummy style pad.

I’ve been pretty happy with the performance in the mid 20s-30s but it’s always hard to tell between layers, sleeping bag, and pad, what is really making the biggest difference. I wouldn’t be too surprised if that number is slightly inflated though, so I appreciate you sharing your experience. Also I should’ve been more specific in the video, but the tent compatibility I’m most worried about is when you’re going with someone that already has their own 25” square mattress. If you’re using 2 of the mummy style pads then you’re right there’s nothing to worry about.
