In the 60's I regularly used Blackpool South (and Central) to visit my Grandma when I lived in Preston. It was a hugely busy line in the summer, and Blackpool shed was a wondrous place with all sorts of visiting locos. What a sad and upsetting sight to see the neglected single track line now. Hardly recognisable. Good luck to everyone making efforts to turn it back into some sort of worthwhile railway.
The South Flyde line does seem to get more busier with more trains being used. Perhaps stations along the route could be upgraded with a 2nd platform. And perhaps Blackpool South to be redeveloped along with a 2nd platform.

When will this line be integrated into the tram system?
Has the passing loop been installed yet 👍👍
