The recovery of the ISS Enterprise from the wormhole, for the Federation to first take into storage and eventually put up as a museum ship, is justification for the fifth season of Discovery.
@@blacknrd05 I mean, I think ALL Trek has done this. ISS Enterprise/USS Defiant/Constellation/Lexington on TOS; the Yamato on TNG; the TOS movies that reused the sets from TNG; Empok Nor from DS9; Columbia from Enterprise; I’m sure Voyager has plenty but I haven’t watched that in a hot minute. It makes sense financially, especially now that Paramount is shuttering Trek properties left and right cos they’re hemorrhaging money. I’ll take a set redress over losing an entire show because a bunch of executive level brain surgeons can’t figure out how to monetize streaming media.
Spock started to reform the Empire and became the Chanceller. The alliance between the Klingons and other powers waited until the Terrain Empire was weak and then subjugated them, killing Spock and enslaved the human race. The ISS Enterprise 1701 was taken by Mirror Saru and others trying to get to the prime universe and safety.
I would say no. Since the Prime Universe Kirk told Mirror Spock about the Tantalus field device that Mirror Kirk had and that he could use it to help improve the Terran Empire in a more positive path. There were some scrapped plans for Mirror Kirk to show up in Star Trek Enterprise if it got a fifth season. Supposedly, the Tantalus field device ends up sending Mirror Kirk to the Prime Universe, but during Captain Archer's time. It apparently sends its victims to different times instead of killing them for at least this version in this scrapped story. He is stuck on some unknown planet for decades until the NX-01 Enterprise shows up and makes contact with him. He tries to use the NX-01 Enterprise transporters to send him back to the Mirror Universe but fails. I forgot why it failed. Edit: It was either because the NX-01 Enterprise transporters were not powerful enough to allow travel between universes, which makes sense since it was an earlier model and it was mostly used for transporting supplies and equipment. They did use it to get crewmembers out of certain situations. Or it had something to do with the timeline being off. These plans were scrapped not only because the show was canceled, but it seemed like they didn't want Captain Archer to be aware of the Mirror Universe since Prime Universe Kirk is supposed to find out about it, until Kurtzman decided that Burnham and the U.S.S. Discovery find out about them before Kirk, just like another scrapped plan where the U.S.S. Defiant ends up in Archer's time. They didn't want Archer to know about the future that involved him creating the United Federation of Planets because it would be better if he did it on his own instead of getting a sneak peak of what he will do. So they recycled the idea that the U.S.S. Defiant ends up in the Mirror Universe where Mirror Archer finds it and uses it for his own reasons to become the Terran Emperor while also getting very annoyed and upset that his good counterpart has become an important man in his universe that he starts to hallucinate that Prime Universe Archer is there taunting him.
Kirk is a survivor and wouldn't want the empire to end, so my opinion is he did survive. Spock wouldn't kill his Captain in any universe and probably just kick him and his supporters off the Enterprise

I despise Discovery, but it's too bad they couldn't use it or SNW to bring Shatner back as the mirror universe Kirk. He said he would do it if it were a compelling story. Maybe having him time travel to Pike's time.
The season is the worst of the whole series (as expected). Extremely boring. Just chasing for the non-senses. The episode 1 and 2 were barely ok while I could still see some star ships in action. However, after that. All episodes are junks. Too many emotional expression. And they just keep expressing the personal emotion without telling any actual sci-fi story. If the coming episodes are the same style. This star trek discovery series will come to a poorest ending ever seen in the history of star trek.

This is how you save money by using SNW's standing sets.
It would have been nice if they were able to do a better job of integrating it into the story.
Earlier trek did the same thing.....

saving money making showrunners rich is the worst idea for shows. make new sets. dont cap your shows at 5 seasons.
I don't think the might of the Terran empire has any fear of a few mutineers aboard there starship
Be nice if Burnham found out Mirror Spocks history. He wasn't as ruthless as the rest of them.
In every revolution, there is one man with a vision. James T Kirk
So now we know what happened after Kirk, Uhura, Scotty, and McCoy returned from the Mirror Universe.
Anything that happens in this show doesn't matter. It's a ahit show

What's with all the blinking lights AND blinking screens AND dropping sparks? Does everything have to be a trope?
Ikr? It's almost like it's a ship that's taken damage.
