Imo the best RLC release was the Pagani huyra R, the casting quality felt very close to a tarmac casting while retaining the hot wheels sturdiness, zero drama about that release, shame it fell under the radar
mine came loose but not torn from the card. I wonder what happened, were they rushing to get those out? Did they get a new company to process them? Was it done on purpose? Mine looked squeezed
I did not know this was an issue because I've been extremely busy so I am going to go and check mine right now. Thank you for the info, brother. hopefully someone from Mattel sees your video.
Prices are already on the 50-60 so I'm not sure if you can compared it to the most overhyped 1/64 car nowadays (R34 Skyline). I did get one because I only collect the Supra series otherwise I would super regret later. Anyway, the Mini GT one still is the best 1/64 stock A80, so not worth it if you don't like the car or not going to re-sell it.
Mine came with two sides glued and two unglued. And this is not the first time Mattel does this, the red RX-7 also has similar issues (to the lesser extent though), and I've seen people complaining about other RLC releases with this problem too. However proper glueing is not something technically impossible for Mattel. Look at any premium sent by them, or even better at any elite 64 - those blisters are very similar to the RLC ones, and yet they are absolutely fine! Looks like it's just the RLC production line that suffers. And I can understand that. But not when it happens so many times in a row and Mattel doesn't give a flying duck about QC.
I wonder if hot wheels did this on purpose so that sealed versions could rise in value as they would be more rare in the future? I got lucky with the 1 I received it was perfect.
RX7 had similar adhesive problems yet they didn’t do anything to fix the issue. What company has the balls to ignore packaging issues and charge big ticket prices? I understand that Malaysia has less quality control concerns compared to an American manufacturing plant. They also have lax protection for their employees. All to save money with cheap labour. The RX7 engine was pathetic looking as well. But the paint shine is what draws us in.
Was use to Mattel's shoddy customer service but now the product too. I'm genuinely done with them. Reached out about mine and they were only willing to offer a 20% refund...for a faulty product!
I’m sorry but you can’t convince me that the Auto World Supra is better than the Mini GT. In my opinion the Mini GT is the best stock Supra available. Great video though!
@@oldsilenthill1 Oh yeah, I only knew about the 1/18 but it seems the 1/64 is just as good. Might not roll but the open hood is pretty nice. Might need to get 1 for myself haha

Don't hammer the idea of cards increasing the value into scalpers heads.. Lamely does this enough lol

That blue is crazy sick killer cool nice! Is that enough words..lol😂
There’s a bunch of blue ones coming up then you’ll be quite happy because they’re gonna use that blue or something similar more times!
Mattel is trying to save money on glue. I recieved mine completely seperated. I filed a complaint. Hopefully they improve QC.

Mines was partially glued and the passenger headlight decal was placed incorrectly. This would be the first for me to receive a RLC with QC issues.

Rlc is better looking imo
I am very disappointed in Mattel's QC. My blister was not glue at all. As soon as I open the protector case, the car fell out of the packaging.
Mine still didn’t come… and the didn’t even ship out the Porsche yet too :/// wondering how it’s gonna look

I didn't even get offered a partial refund, just send it in for a refund
Mine still hasn’t shipped yet.

Yep! By far! It really is the best 1/64 Stock A80 you can get for the price/quality.
Wrong answer, take a look to the stock toyota supra by lcd models 1/64, thats the best casting for a supra at that scale, surpasses the minigt

Worth more out of the card. Bunch of cardboard collectors here 🤦🏻♂️
