Wow, in 1974 we still only had a Unit operator and a Assistant Unit operator and that was when we synchronizing 😅. So nice to see the synchoscope was still in use, but of course now retired. Is it Unit 1? I was Assistant unit operator control room from 71/72 & Unit operator for Unit 4 72-74 on Robin Powell's shift, they were the most satisfying years of operating as much of the control loops were still being proven for 'automatic' control. Thanks for the memories but the changing rooms must have been remodeled. Regards Terry Johnson in New Zealand

My very 1st shift I was asked if I wanted to sync a unit, in the 90's the engineer synced, over time the operators were allowed to do it. In the last few years it again became an engineers duty. There was only an operator and an inside assistant running unit 1 on its last run, engineer desynced it.
