- In this video we will go through the process of designing, engraving, and cutting out a QR code wifi coaster in LightBurn. This is a great practical laser project that will get you familiar with some of the tools available in LightBurn as well as the general workflow from design to finished product. This project can be done on most diode lasers or CO2, and the design portion will not require you having a laser.

Great video! One remark: the S30 can’t run at 8000 if the firmware is not changed. The maximum is set to 6000 from factory.

Good Tutorial. Would ne interested in seeing an add on or a link to how to set a website or other internet location QR code.
All you need to do is type a website address into the “raw” data field when making the QR code. It’s much simpler than what we’re doing here.

Can I use lightburn software ezcad machine..as a laser marking machine xy motorized table system.. ?
I have enabled the fire button, but can't find the ''move'' tab? Where is it?
Open the Window menu and make sure the Move window is enabled there.

I can’t find the cut option nowhere
The fire button needs to be enabled. This is under Device Settings --> Enable Laser Fire Button. If you are wanting to cut then you will want to use line mode.

I have a polar laser, after I send the file to the laser and name, I then hit start but the light on the laser always goes from green to red and nothing moves. Can you help me . I do t know what I'm doing wrong.

The only difference between the versions of LightBurn are the types of lasers it can control. The editing functions are all the same.
