Would having your airtag in a more discreet location make more sense? If someone sees the cool bright yellow tag that would be the first thing they removed?
But if you hid the airtag where nobody can see it how would people know that you have all the apple products?

I would do the same if i was going to take a drone with me i would go for a small compact drone so tat it takes up less space
