This record would've pushed Bey too far into the pop realm which is what she didn't wanna do after Sasha Fierce. So many R&B artists were making entire albums like this and alienated their core fans. Bey was under pressure to get even more pop after Single Ladies and this just confirmed it. However, I wouldn't have been mad if this was released. It needs a climax tho.
