Without Mick Jones there you can see Kelly worried less about sounding like Lou Gramm and putting more of his own voice into it. It's better that way. Let Lou be Lou, and Kelly be Kelly.

It's bad enough that today's musicians and singers have no talent. It's even worse - and upsetting - when they take over what was originally outstanding music, and become part of bands we used to love listening to for their genuine, talented performances and powerful rock, and botch it all up - from the vocalist, to the obnoxious demonstration by the kid on the guitar. You can't bring back the magnificent beauty of 1980's rock. And I realize this is still technically "Foreigner", but for the love of god. When Lou left, as with any original group who loses an original member, it will never be the same again. Why'd the 80's have to pass? :(
How in the hell is that bad? Kelly Hansen is absolutely fantastic and brings back the classic Foreigner songs pretty much as good as Lou in my opinion.
Mr TKDWillie Your remarks about Foreigner are terrible! If you had any respect for Mick Jones who wrote the songs and chose who made up his band Then and Now you wouldn't say this crap! I loved Lou and Foreigner when they began. I still have their old albums and CDs. I love them Now too. Kelly's voice is just as good as Lou's and so is his performance. In fact I think he's even better and has more sex appeal too. I'm glad Mick has reformed the band with excellent musicans and has kept Foreigner going strong. Lou quit on Mick. He's the one that made it fall apart. He didn't want to sing some of the slower songs Mick wrote and Kelly's singing them. Why some people can't love both the old Foreigner and Kelly in the New Foreigner is so wrong. You'd think they'd want the song's to continue and more be coming. Of you don't like them just go listen to another band. Some of these band members have been in Foreigner for a long time. Kelly the newest and he's been there 16 yrs. He's been in theusic business since he was 17. That's 40 years singing, guitar and being a Frontman. He knows what he's doing and Mick chose him. He is the 80's Rock.
Kelly is a good singer, really. But Lou is the master on this song.. Only he got the power in his voice that let you chill. Don't destroy one of the best songs of all time!
MrLancer2007 Kelly's voice is stronger and better than Lou's is now along with his performance. Lou was good and did make Foreigner then but Kelly is making it Great Now! Quit comparing him to Lou or anyone. He's a great Frontman. No one could do these songs any better than he is.
Its pathetic enough that Mick Jones tours with a cover band. Its even worse when he doesnt show up for the concerts due to illness. Then its a cover band with no members of Foreigner. This singer sounds more like Justin Timberlake than Lou Gramm. Really really bad cover band
