I'm always amazed by machine/vehicle modeling. You basically have to be an engineer: so many parts, and they all intertwine and look like they function 100% together.
naturally talented modeler/sculptor. great work.
You are a freaking genius!!!! I truly respect the artistry and creativity you put into the texture and detail. You are the Story tellers of this Age. Manifesters of imagination! Awesome Bro's!!
And that's why I respect guys who can make awesome textures :)
Absolutely top-notch! Showing a true balance between technical perfection and artistic beauty. Thanx for sharing the candy.
awesome work !!!! purly fantastic !
An amazing animation! Real power in that video. It could be used In a commercial and do great!!!
wow im speachless i wish i could afford have work like this done to my low budget stuff. you guys are amazing and an inspiration to artists everywhere
runaway, ton projet, est de loin (je le pense sincerement) le meilleur de toute la session 2013... oeut etre meme le meilleur d'artfx! excellent travail!
Wow! Fantastic work!
Seeing Superman at the end had me shook up. Powerful video
Music is from the offf titles by post panic, you should check that out, more awesome work.
It's just a texture-less diffuse material. It keeps the surface shading smooth so you can see detail and angles much more easily.
Nice work! That gigantic rig thing is cool!!
I am speechless sir. Inspirational.
Kick ass Work, great stuff and attention to detail...
Big "Thank you" to all who answered and of course for this awesome reel :)
So many details and a very interesting style in each design, well done!
..hands down, you guys rule...!!
Wow!!! I remember seeing your speed tut on the making of superman's hair!! Really inspired and happy to see your showreel!! Amazing stuff u have going on here! would watch once everyday you can be rest assured!! Thanks again!
I don't understand, these are high poly models textured or just low poly with a normal map on it? Thats amazing
Amazing reel!
I just began learning about 3D and shit but this holy shit. How do you even create something like that. Absolutly astonishing !
Lots and lots of time.
Really great stuff.
Now that's modelling. I just love vfx
Good lord, this is just crazy amazing good work!
the big mover is insane! great stuff
Awesome!!!
I love-It
I wish I could see a full animation of this....
Love the graphics, music, sound, the scale of it.
That transport thing is lovely. awesome work dude
simply amazing!! Love details! =)
Sooooooo dope!! Great inspiration!
I just have a question, Im using a quadro k4000 .. any tips on how i can improve on render time?
OMG! That render!!!
Great work! Gratulations!
The Compositing is so Great!
when i watch these types show-reel it gives sense of motivation to keep working and new ideas as well...i like the big machine...
Amazing.
Kudos Romain.
at 0:58 was that big tank rendered with mental ray? I'd love to see a tutorial on the lighting and materials you used.
Excellent work by the way. Very impressive.
stunning models!!,
that would be my one critic though. is that the turntable models. with no textures are very blown out, a bit of ambient occlusion would add shadows and bring out the fine detail. and id love to see that :)
Beautiful!
I wish I could see more information about these models. Great renders, but what about the wireframes?
Great works, dude! The middle-aged superman skin looks great!
wow 4 stars. good work
Sick stuff. Mind blown.
Really. Enjoyed. These videos. A lot .thanks kg
I love that giant vehicle. But bloody hell you need a space machine to run so many polygons without frying your computer. How long did it take you?
You broke the reality rules , awesome man
Wow, the back of Superman's head, amazing...
wow, Amazing models
Nice modelling, i love it
OMG! You are a complete Hollywood VXF studio in one person
Sure. Who was saying otherwise...? But reading the description of this video I assume this work was made solely by the named artist
Wow Romain! Your are an incredible artist! I especially love your giant rig! I hope you get to work on The Mortal Engines movies they would be the perfect project for you! Amazing modeling!
EPICNESS!
Killer work man!
really good!
dude, can you tell us what the name of the soundtrack of the video or the movie where it came from?
WOW!!!! Realy realy realy good :D
AMAZING..
Sweet reel - tech lighting
Absolutely amazing work friend. Your industrial design work is exceptional, and your rendering and lighting skills made it all pop really nicely. On that note, may I ask about your lighting/rendering workflow?
I have one minor suggestion, if Superman came alive at the end and smiled at the camera, that would ... just be next level awesome.
extreme work!!!! Nice
Great. what kind of software do you use?
Hi guy thanks you a lot!
3vilChick3n : Sorry, I don't understand what you mean?
Yes it's a sort of Clay Render. I've no ambiant occlusion on this render, it's just a simple render with lambert material, and after a few tweak in comp.
This is the line of work i would like to get into, does anyone know were i would start to be able to get to this level, Or any good tutorials? Thanks
Someone know what program is used for making this ?
Are renders like the one at 0:38 special materials? I'm new to the matter and want something like that
Superman + beard = awesome.
wow, amazing
Great CG. Good going!
Depends what program you're using/going to use ;-)
What programs do you use?
does anybody know, which programs he had used? :O
***** Nope> Maya and rendered in VRay
That big oil rig thing on treads, did you model that whole thing yourself?
what programs did you use for this? :) it looks awesome, a lot of work :)
Feb. 2018-----Don't know what the hell I just saw, but I liked it. What would be amazing is taking some of the weapons/vehicles and making 3D printed versions of 'em.
Amazing..
In my opinion , the hobbits cgi looked so good, it actually looked better, and more detailed than real life.
If this is what came outside, I can't imagine what must be still inside there!
How many experience years do you have?
Awsome!
please, can some one tell me from were is the song playng in the background?
Amazing as always, would be great if sometime you could share with us the Work&Render time. Just to increase the mindblow
Is this rendered in an engine , or just edited frame by frame ?
Hi SicVenom, if you want that effect for your renders, do a google search for clay rendering tutorial in whatever software you use.
how long did that all take to render?
those weapons are from district 9 right?
Nice composite definition on a tablet, shading is also smooth and seamless without any obvious abrupt loss off clarity blending, however some of the other short films are cleaner, but nice work all the same
Eu adoro a sua arte
It must have taken days to make that Big Crane Tank Machine Thing, lol. Looks like you got the Computer to Render it out, so why not, GJ
THIS IS SUPER-SPARTA!!!
Wow very nice. I do not envy the person who made that movable fortress. Would take so long for me, but it obviously seems like he knows a lot more and is way more experienced. I looked at the website and im taking a guess that all of them where made with maya, but i am not sure. (update) nvm found the area where they list what programs were used
+OxTitan please share source.
Well, there goes any job I ever hoped for. Damn. Absolutely incredible.
This should be inspiring not a deterrent.
You think Romain did not put in the time to be this good?
Holy crap. Love the hover buggy thing at 1:08
Should I watch grumpy cats OR amazing skills worthy of video space?... Meow.
In all seriousness - this is fantastic work.
*2:08* Are you serious?! I know the Power from Maya and Vray, but this is...the most realistic human i´ve ever seen (real humans included :D)
Nice work.
Holy poop! who are you?
this shit is amazing!
Respect!
now that's hover bike, very nice designing
