Although we are on the cusp of the Great Tribulation, God has blessed us with the ability to study His Priceless Word anytime, anywhere! Does anyone else realize how blessed we really are?? Bibles and Biblical study used to be so much harder to access. Today we can get it so easily. All praises and honor and glory be to Jesus Christ who sits on the throne!
In North America, we who are chosen have such access to the Word (Living and written) that when we read in Acts 8 about the Ethiopian Eunuch reading the Scripture of Isaiah, we don't think much of it. But, back then, that man would have paid a pretty ... sheckel to buy that scroll. He was a foreigner, a gentile, and a eunuch. With the gatekeeping of the Jews, should he even have been permitted to have a scroll? Maybe especially the scroll of Isaiah? We're grateful that he did. It's an interesting story.
