- If you’re a couple who golfs and spas, the Defence Raya Golf and Country Club is your new zen paradise in lovely Lahore! This is the property that has most surprised me so far in Pakistan and it should be on your radar for a weekend getaway if you’re local or as a homebase during your upcoming visit to Lahore. It’s a wonderful property to bring the whole family, with lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Or if you’re a solo traveller like me, plan for some “me time” at the spa between everything else you get up to. I stayed in a junior suite, tried both their Pakistani and continental cuisine, and indulged in a couple of hours at the Raya Splitends salon and spa.
You’ll come for the golf and leisure activities but stay for the service, trust me on that one.

I always appreciate a balcony as it makes everything seem so open and this balcony room had a wonderful view as well. Seeing the food portion of the video just makes me so darn jealous. All those beautiful dishes. Wow, lucky you. Even though this hotel more than likely caters to men ... ladies should be very happy staying here as well. I look forward to seeing your next adventure. I totally agree! Especially with that spa! They were the only hotel with a nice, sprawling proper spa that I reviewed in Lahore. It was wonderful.
I have to say that you have covered what most international travel bloggers have not by showing us so many great hotels/resorts. Honestly as a Pakistani I must visit this place as well as the skardu & hunza top brands with stunning views.

Beautiful spacious room in d country club. Nice complimentary snacks.
They did set me up with nice nibbles, was happy to have those at happy hour time haha

Stunning! Lovely view and flowers too. Good design of room too. Definitely Lahore has high standard food industry. Muslim chefs are best in that know how to prepare meat and chicken for cooking and mixing spices best.

And it feels so nice to see another hotel review. There are some more Golf courses in Lahore with huge sprawling areas, including Lahore Gymkhana Club (oldest), Royal Palm Golf & Country Club, Garrison Golf & Country Club and a few more. Plus there is an immensely huge UFC gym in Lahore near Defence Raya Golf Course. -- Ali, Lahore :-)
