What a lovely collection! I recently purchased two Polene bags after watching a leather craftsman breakdown (literally tore apart) the craftmanship and high quality of leather used by them. Luxury brands (Chanel, LV, YSL etc) which he also tore apart and found with a few exceptions, uses mid quality leathers and heavily coat them with plastics for texture uniformity, water resistance and longevity. Instead, Polene chooses minimally processed mid-level (pebbled) to high quality (smooth calfskin, and suede) leathers. So the leather can scratch and create a patina. Polene also use very high quality intricate construction techniques and the best materials and hardware. It was very interesting to learn all of this.

I am glad that you started the video off with the Chanel bags. Each and every one of them is just beautiful, so elegant and classy, lady-like and perfect. I will never understand the fascination with Louis Vuitton honestly. They do absolutely nothing for me. While I like the clean lines of the Hermes; for the most part, I think they are overrated. The Chanel, for me, wins hands down. It's good that we have so many choices to choose from since everyone has different tastes. Thank you.

to be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are hotdups buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do
